Just weeks after ESPN conducted a poll on who NFL executives viewed as the “best” safety in the game, Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro defensive back, Minkah Fitzpatrick barely even cracked the top 10 in EA Sports’ latest version of the popular Madden NFL franchise video game.
Check out the top 10 rated safeties here:
Fitzpatrick played in and started all 16 games last season, had 74 total tackles, 11 passes defensed, 4 interceptions (1 for a TD), 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He’s a 2x First-Team All-Pro, and a 2x Pro Bowler since being drafted in 2018 by the Miami Dolphins before being traded to the Steelers in 2019. Put some respect on my man’s name! The numbers don’t lie:
We love and appreciate yinz, Mr. Fitzpatrick. And trust us when we say we’re pretty speechless at this point too.

Minkah Fitzpatrick appreciation thread. Nothing against Justin Simmons, but look at those stats.
