only if you have a uniform that is black and gold must you make sure you are short of the line to gain.
 
All that cap space next year. I don't want to hear anything about "paying our own". Spend the $$ on the OL/DL/ILB, draft one of the top WRs and CBs coming out in the 1st and second.
 
I don’t know if Mason or Haskins would be better than Ben, I do think when you are losing this bad you throw something at the wall and see if it sticks. Not much to lose at this point.

I hear ya. Well, if the team were to come up with some sort of nagging injury that could allow Ben to save face but he goes on IR or something, he would still get his $$ wouldnt he?? That is what needs to happen. Tell Mason you have SIX GAMES to prove we dont need to draft a QB or trade for one. Ben wont be coming back. Its all you. And see what Rudolph does with it. I got a feeling I know what will happen, but at least you gave him a chance and lost nothing because this team is toast anyway.

would love to see Haskins and see what he can do. This would be the best thing to do with these remaining 6 games. Take Ben's looming shadow out of the picture and take inventory of what you have at the QB spot in games that count, not preseason games. See how Mason does with a line that cannot block its way out of a paper bag. See if Haskins can make some magic. But to continue in this exercise is foolish.
 
Defense has given up 75 points in the last 7 quarters.

I doubt it is about the money for him. Don't know where you are coming from with this opinion. It would be about his ego in my opinion, not the money
