Steelers - Bills game thread #onTheRoadAgain

PITTSBURGH goes into hostile stadium against a front runner team and gets a "W" what more could yaz want...................

Maybe an afternoon with Meagan Fox, paris hilton, Olivia Newton John and in that order and doing more than smiling...................

Pointing and laughing too?

I hear yaz but you ONLY get what's posted, take it or leave it. NO subs

Speaking of subs............... TJ played a lot more and was effective better than I thought he would be. Hats off to him

Wtf?
That’s it. I’m appealing

Way to go!!! Great game all around but props for the D to keep it tight until the Offense could find its legs....They continue to live up to my expectations of a Steeler D: No Quarter!!!

Believe it or not .....coaching won the game for the Steelers and lost the game for the Bills. That's a fact.

Olivia Newton John? Holy hell you are old.... ;)

Run blocking actually got better in the 2nd half. Hope that continues into next week and Najee gets his 1st 100 yard game..
They’ll get better as time goes on. I’m worried about Ben holding up this season. He’s lacking some zip as well, hopefully it’s nothing lingering in his arm

Pass blocking was giving Ben a couple of extra seconds it seems also. Kudos to the adjustments at half-time.

I was impressed with the defensive play calls. Did not seem to blitz much and we were able to drop into coverage. Watt, Heyward, and Ingram played great up front and the secondary was better than expected. Even the TD Sutton gave up was excellent coverage. Allen did miss a wide open WR early, but other than that the D was solid. Offense came to life just enough to squeak out a win. Going on the road w/ 71k fans against one of the best AFC teams and winning is impressive no matter how it looked.

Buffalo is a good team. They were fired up with their fans back. Beating that team on the road is a big deal.

Ben called it regarding the offense being something that is going to be less-than-perfect early on. Run blocking will get better (I hope). If Najeh gets a crease, he shows he is going to get serious yardage.

Finally, this defense could be very good. VERY good.
I really liked what I saw in Naj....Even though it was one game, he did not get discouraged and kept hitting the line... Many do not remember what it was like to have a running game but it takes much persistence and perseverance. Now what I saw today I would not call a "running game" but it supplied just enough to keep Ben from getting totally run over every snap. I'm expecting to see the line and Naj gel over the coming weeks and we might get to the point midway to the end of the season where we see Ben throwing the ball to keep the defense honest....You never know but I hope we get back to that point....The playoffs and the weather that usually accompanies the pLayoffa wa built for a strong running game...
