The Broncos definitely got the matchups they wanted on the sequence with Edmunds and Pierre one on one.
Those two held up when they had to.

Ben played ******* great today, as did Najee (at the beginning of this thread, I called for him to have 20+ carries and sure enough, he did and the O looked good), Claypool, and Diontae. The D really tried to give the game away in the 4th quarter. They need to work on that ****. Glad for the win! We certainly needed it. We have stuff to work on but that was a heck of a day on offense and for 3 quarters and 1 play in the 4th for the D.

With Pierre on the bomb and on verticals, i agree.
But with Pierre in the endzone on a crossing route - unless it's really a fade to the pilon - then i think that's a bad matchup for them because Pierre is so quick and his only disadvantage comes up in size and physicality.

We can't get a pass rush without blitzing. That is it. They didn't blitzing at all and got nothing. Denver adjusted and started picking that zone apart.
Congrats Harris on your first 100 yard rushing game. That was huge for the offense today, which actually looked like an offense.

Not sure about ILB but Alualu sure would have helped. Maybe Tuitt can come back in time and make a difference in the middle. A few of those long passes, our guys looked confused. I guess that's what happens when your starter is out. That's where it would be nice to have a Troy Polamalu again.
