Ironic he came on the scene as The Bus was winding down his career and helped propel Naj's career when he was winding down No doubt he conveyed to Naj what it takes to win in this league. Hopefully Naj has as productive a career as #36 and #7.Ben Roethisberger's last "real" play... Najee Harris' season long run WITH a TD.
Ben Roethlisberger's "last" play... Kneel for the win.
The radio feed only aired MTs post game.52 year old man watching Ben's post game presser and tears .. man.
ESPN will run Ben's about 50x tomorrow. The radio feed only aired MTs post game.
Can you burn me a copy?
I'm sure Tomlin called the TO so Ben could walk off to an ovation.

I saw them both, I watched Terry adjust with the offense sling that ball deep when he couldI didn’t get to see Bradshaw play outside of being a kid too young to remember anything… before Ben the best QB id seen in a Steelers jerseywas probably super conservative Neil Odonnel…

Same…I am old enough to remember the lean years in the mid / late 80s. After suffering through 1994 AFCC and SB XXX with those great defenses I shed a tear when they finally won in 2005. I was fortunate to have seen the best SB in 2009 and I will remember that drive coming towards me that 7 architected. I will never forget that or James’ INT for TD. Just sad we aren’t going any farther this year probably.I didn’t get to see Bradshaw play outside of being a kid too young to remember anything… before Ben the best QB id seen in a Steelers jerseywas probably super conservative Neil Odonnel…
sorry the best super bowl is still SB win #3 over the cowboys...Same…I am old enough to remember the lean years in the mid / late 80s. Nail on the head comment Coolie, and I’ll go one better…..I think Ben was playing under the rules in Terry era. Frigging officials hardly ever called late hits, blows to the face or ankle tackles during pretty damn all of his 18 year career. While Marcia, and the real elites (Peyton, Rodgers) got calls their way constantly.I saw them both, I watched Terry adjust with the offense sling that ball deep when he could
He had two great receiers and they helped some, but he could get the ball down field to them and pressure just didn't matter
l don't really know who I would say is better, but I will say Ben is one of the few guys today who could survive playing under the rules Terry dealt with

I'm with you buddy, all good.
That was the first Steeler Super Bowl I remember watching. There was a massive ice storm and power was out all over. I followed in my older brothers footsteps and became a fan of the Steelers and my dad took me and our 13" black and white portable tv out to his work and we watched the game together. Awesome game and a great memory. That was a great game. The rams game was epic as well. I was all ready for One For The Thumb in 81 I even had the t-shirt.....and had to wait until 2005.
Waiting 25+ years through so many close calls, the superbowl xxx,the afc championship game losses. It made the 2005 superbowl win special for me. All of those years and finally One For The Thumb!
All the old school fans know what I mean.
I was right there with you. I turn 52 in March. I'm glad my wife (a Cleveland fan) went to bed. I was crying on and off throughout the game. It's amazing what sports does to a man. LOL.52 year old man watching Ben's post game presser and tears .. man.
I was amazed seeing him hit a hole and he was stiff-arming people deep inside there. So much power and he's only a rookie. I easily see 2,000 yards from scrimmage next year.Oh totally love Harris already. He took that **** to another level today and so did the line. That type of football I love.
I can't get over the strength of Harris. He moves people like the Bus.
We pretty much raised him after Coolio found him in the woods.SteelerFan81
