Steelers @ Carolina

Sad about Ike but if we can get pressure like we did tonight it will soften the loss.

Moats looks good and Spence is ready. Hopefully, Shazier gets a clean bill of health.

454 total yards, 264 yards on the ground, no turnovers by the offense, two turnovers in our favor, almost 35:00 time of possession, on the road.

Nice.

Nice to see Blount and Bell smoke some Panther D

Shazier probably got that dreaded high ankle sprain. He is young so hopefully he is back by 3 weeks

Thank you for playing Steeler ball this evening! A pure joy to watch minus the garbage td's you gave up late. That is how you play on national TV! I've been waiting a long time to see a game like this evenings again.

Saw something interesting today. Bell has to get his case resolved by November or face a 2 game suspension.

Why wouldn't they show Benjamin's feet? It kept looking like he caught the ball with only 1 foot in but they kept showing a shot of him of his knees and up.

He demonstrared control of the ball in the field of play, once it crossed the goal line it just required not loosing the ball.

I''ll have a huge smile on my face when I wake up tomorrow, thanks to this dominant performance.

Walking into my office in the morning will be great, thanks to the mighty Steelers. Really excellent game they played!

Running game is showing a lot of potential.

If they can continue to build on the performance, the Steelers have a chance to have a good season.

Injuries suck, but I think the depth is there if they manage to bond together.

The win this team needed to at least give them a chance to turn around the dismal two starts...............

Most predicted a spanking at the hands of the Panthers (myself included)....clearly a different Steeler team than we witnessed the last game and a half.
Keep it up boys!

I really hope this is the turning point of the season

Quoting the first replay to the thread, I think it actually could happen. Here we go Steelers, here we go

He can't rush very damn well either.

Don't get the Jarvis hate tonight. He was consistently applying pressure, which led to the pivotal turnover in the game. He was around the QB more than Worilds all night til he got hurt. The kid is improving. Hopefully he can get back out there soon. For myself, I'd be looking a the $9 Mil Man as our weak link so far.

I said the same thing last week in the Rats thread.....it would appear that the light bulb is coming on for Jarvis Jones and it's nice to see because I know many had this kid labeled a BUST!

He was better tonight but once again, he always seems to be around plays, but doesn't quite make them. Even on the fumble tonight, he got some push but was in the process of being shoved to the ground by the OT and it was the OT who shoved Jarvis into Cam's arm.

He's a first round pick. We need him to make plays, not just almost make plays.

He was collapsing the pocket all night when he was in there. In fact, it was because he was collapsing the pocket that the OT was able to push him into Newton. And btw, he was "pushing" him to the ground by pulling his facemask, which basically says "you've beat my *** so I've got to do this to protect my QB."

You can clearly see the facemask in the picture of the hit in this article: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24720402/steelers-panthers-10-things-to-know-from-pittsburghs-37-19-win

I'm more worried about the fact that our $9 Mil Man isn't getting anywhere near the push that Jarvis is. That's the guy who is not getting anywhere near the QB and who Moats should replace if anyone.

Things I liked:
1) Running game
2) Ben is not taking a beating
3) A. Brown is a special talent
4) Running game
5) Running game
