Steelers -chiefs game day thread

They just beat a team they had no business beating.

Having said that we have serious questions at the QB position.

bullshit....the chiefs have had issues stopping the run.....they couldn't stop Bell today

and the defense has been great against the pass and sucked against the run, especially in two games.....they seem to have fixed their run scheme at least for today....

17 of 25 for 252 with a TD and a pick that wasn't his fault.....

Yes we won a big game. Burns should have been benched he is going to lose games for you.Tomlin is blinded by his number one pick. Burns allowed a 60 yard TD. He is lost out there. Brown makes a great play and then as usual Brown is more concerned with celebrating on the field and as Chiefs moving ball is still practicing celebration with Sensabaugh on side lines.. He should be watching the defense and pulling for them. Then he and Bell are still chatting and laughing when once more Harrison is on the field saving the game for them. It was a very big win but we had outplayed Chiefs for three periods and then we became less aggressive. You look at Bell on third down not falling forward, Brown makes a good catch and jumps backwards no first downs , we love playing like that where we allow a team we dominated to stay around.

Burns ****** up on that play and again when Smith over threw the guy at the goal line...but he also made several plays today....he is young, he will **** up now and then....

Honestly.. the way we played early on in this game, the chefs had no business still being in it, but we didn't seem to have the same urgency to actually score points than we did to just dominate TOP and yardage

The O the second half was playing behind the chains all second half. Penalties killed two huge plays and drives.
The second red zone possession we call a pass on first with basically one option, ran wide and lost yards on second down running wide vs a stacked line, 3rd down Bell gets held on the pass to hm no penalty

Just a hater. This team will live or die with no.7 at the helm this year. He's a proven champion. His best is yet to come this season. Just a hair off a few things. That running game is the key to balance and opening things up in the passing game. Ben played smart today.

I don't get that. We didn't execute our plays on key downs. Situational play calling and execution has been a big problem for us. Saying we didn't have an urgency...Really?

Yea we want to pat Burns for making a play and giving up a TD that put the Chiefs back in the game. Young does not fly he was a first rounder . He reminds me of Ray Lewis when he celebrates he made a play when in reality the receiver drops the ball. He is piss poor at tackling but he is good at pointing his finger at other players. He is our weak link on defense.

Mitchell says hi.

WE need more Conner! Bell was great today. But Bell/Conner can be a dynamic combo

Read article not long ago that said Burns had only allowed one TD all season. So guessing today's was his second. He made a few mistakes today but then again he always was in on some good plays. We're ranked #1 in pass defense yet you think we should bench a starting CB?

You're going to criticize Brown and Bell after this game? LMAO.

Brown's catch won the game for us today. Bell ran for 179 yards. What do you think Alex Smith would have done to us today if that hadn't happened?

Instead of nitpicking you ought to be on your knees thanking the football gods for the fact that they are on our team. Sheesh.

Yes I am when he is more concerned on celebration ...the chiefs move the ball in a hart beat at the end and Brown is still practicing a celebration. I am not running down Brown or bell in the game except for all the excess he has already looked like a fool on the sidelines about. More to closing out a game than celebrating before final whistle. We need both but you saw 15 yard penalty for Bell celebration, lucky it did not cost us. Bell had a much needed game for us and Bell made plays when needed, Celebrate when the W is on our side not the Chiefs moving the ball until Harrison makes the play.

If they perform like they did today I have no issue with their celebrations.

We dominated an undefeated team on the road in a very tough stadium for much of the game today. Did they make some plays? Of course They wouldn't be an undefeated team if they weren't capable of that. Were we perfect? Of course not. But it's not that easy to be perfect against a very, very strong team on the road.

Just enjoy it for God's sake.

So now we need to monitor their demeanor on the sidelines? I swear to god some people are never happy unless they have something to whine about.

Did Eli even sniff the field today? Maybe I missed it, but never saw him.

Happy birthday to me!!!!! What an awesome game to be at. The atmosphere was amazing. The KC fans were beyond gracious (wayyy better than the last time I was there and had a guy start a fight with me over wearing a Steelers jersey in HIS HOUSE and how as (at that time) being a military spouse was absolutely nothing to him.) Seeing Brown's catch live...OMG.
