I have started using USTVNOW and their one day $3.99 trial. So far they have filled in the holes this year. A bonus is that I have been getting a “free” day each time I have to use a new email and C/C for the “trial”.

So a daily free hole filling service. Huh

I did this on the Friday game of opening week but not sure if it will be relevant again this year, if games come up on Peacock only, you can signup for Instacart two week trial and that will come with Peacock as a benefit so you would have it for the game and for two additional weeks, just cancel before two weeks are up and you're good. I pay for YoutubeTv, Prime, Netflix, and ESPN+ ( Penguins ) but these stand alone pay per view games are BS!

I’ve had that done many places across the country, it’s not really a new thing. We have a brewery in our area that has a “loyalty” program where they just scan your “loyalty” card and it tracks your purchases and has your card on file. It works good, they say it is on an unconnected server, and you don’t get hit up for a tip on your bill. The owner implemented it because it saves him labor. Your card gets charged at the end of the night. It’s really a pretty easy system. The help scans your card, order, and table, then moves on. The order goes to the bar, gets filled and sent out by any other help. Same process each order. They must pay help well because the signs on the tables say tips are not encouraged, but will be pooled and split by all help. Their turnover is almost nonexistent.

Somehow the stores are connected to the state computer to connect the purchase with the gov. . This is what i have a problem with. Its one thing to see a valid license and a ok DOB.

But for them to scan my drivers license and immediately know im ok to purchase, tells me they are linked. THIS is bullshit.

The story from LEO’s is that it is a better way to find fake ID’s. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure they are also profiting off of it someway too. You have so many ways that they collect data from you, that is probably the least of your concern.
