Am I the only one that hates these handoffs deep in the backfield? Seems like Bell has to run forever just to get back to the LOS.

They're especially effective when backed by a WR screen against press coverage. A lot of teams don't appreciate the value of wearing a defense out behind the line of scrimmage.
