Exactly. And it was something that showed early in the game and never fixed. What works in the 1st half should not work in the 2nd. In HS maybe, not at this level.

I agree that they have the capacity to play better than they did. I've seen much better from everyone, from top to bottom than what I saw tonight. Everyone except Fitchner.
In any event, I wouldn't mind seeing Tomlin take the Cowher "hiatus". Might be time for a fresh message/messenger. Wouldn't mind seeing Ben retire. It'll hurt for a few seasons, but, this "death by a thousand paper cuts" thing ain't working and if we're being honest, Ben's mistakes have put the team in some crappy positions over the last half of the season.

If that was it for Ben, nice to see it was a TD to Claypool and a final completion to Conner.
And they were playing an offense missing their play caller and their entire Oline

And Chuck Noll as head coach, not Mike Tomlin. If Mike or a 70s doppelgänger ran that team, I don’t think he would have put together that set of players and they wouldn’t have been as effective.
Coaching matters a lot in this game.
He's probably the Steelers greatest QB and deserves respect. QBs can't be great forever.
