Steelers cryhawks game thread.

if the 49ers' performance today is any indication, they're going to soundly whip this team next week.
 
**** me. 0-2. looking like its gonna be a long season.
 
as long a butler is dc we will not win pretty much that simple not going to argue about Tomlin cuz we know the Rooneys won't fire him but butler should go asap!
 
We should extend Tomlin further ......It is going to take at east 10 years to fix this ****
 
Looking forward to tomlin presser that states the same words last 10 years

I am fine with a 3-13 season if it means a total cleaning of coach staff

Any excuse for the mental midget to keep his job. Maybe we can get to 15 years and 2 playoff wins. More mediocrity, YAYYYY!!
 
Ben needs to hang it up. How is it that as soon as he leaves the game, receivers get open all over the field?? Oh and Moncrief should be cut. You could make an argument that had he caught that pass, we don’t lose...

Never happen. They'll have some lame excuse for his first losing season. You know it's never his fault. It's always execution.
 
However you slice it a team below the line performance. O looking sloppy and D not stopping anything when it counts. A shame because Rudolph could have logged a win with better coaching, better D, and better WR play.

3rd &16, Wilson just ran it for 2 first downs, you take a ******* TO, and you don't put a spy on Wilson to you know, stop him from what he just did to you. ******* idiots.
 
Hey the Steel Curtain held them to 452 yards of offense today. That's some badass ****. I followed the game only by statistics and play by play off the bleacher report. Same ****.

This ship needs a new captain and crew.
 
Defense sucked against the run in the 1st half but kept them to a TD. Then, they made no adjustments and let Seattle march up and down the field for 3 TD's in the 2nd half. Just terrible. Our performance was bad but the coaching is just as bad. On the Metcalf TD, why the **** do you put Nelson right next to him on what looked to be a TE and Edmunds, a safety, on Metcalf. Nelson had shut Metcalf down the entire game. Edmunds covered him well but he isn't a CB and should rarely, if ever, be lined up on an opposing teams top 1 or 2 WR at the line. Still just dumb **** happening on our D. They need to go back to basics and play that way.

The O is just terrible when Ben is in there. Not sure what happened to his arm but either way, he is not in sync with anyone. That was very evident when Rudolph came in and marched the team right down the field multiple times. Even on his "interception" (should be called a fumble), he threw a great ball. Rudolph looked real good and should have us Steelers fans feeling a little better about when Ben hangs them up. Also not sure what happened to Conner.

This team is terrible overall. I think we can beat the Bungles but I doubt we will. I see no way we beat the Ratbirds. They will score at will on us. They have a QB playing well; a good TE; some good RB's; and some good fast WR's. We very well may start 0-4 and if we do, the season will definitely be over. We very well could be 0-5 before we get a game against the Dolphins that we should win.
 
The phantom PI on the replay was complete garbage and worked exactly as I thought it would. ****** terrible. Almost as bad as the missed helmet to helmet by Dupree and the half brained pick up of his option.

When you see stupid **** the whole game, there is one person who should shoulder the blame. This team hasn't played winning football out of the gates. Unacceptable.

I think Tomlin is done is Pittsburgh, especially if we lose next week in San Francisco. I've never been on the "Fire Tomlin" bandwagon, but I'm looking for a seat.

It was a touchy call but I thought they would overturn it. Even though Edmunds did turn around and make a play for the ball, he also put his hands on the receiver and changed the receivers direction. It sucks but as the one announcer said, this is the NFL we live in now. Tomlin could have and should have thrown a flag on the Rudolph throw to Johnson but didn't for some reason. That would have been a 20+ yard gain and given Rudolph a chance to take the lead. Instead, we punt the ball.
 
Dumb *** already has his excuse - no AB, and now Ben is out. It doesn't matter that he continually makes horrible in game decisions like his time out management today. Never any in game adjustments. Terrible schemes to begin with. He always gets a pass. **** him and **** whoever gives him a pass. He wasn't qualified to even be a position coach when he was hired and he certainly isn't qualified to be a HC going into his 13th year. THIRTEEN ******* YEARS! AND NO END IN SIGHT. UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!
