Steelers-dolts game thread - #When3RiversMeetsA4th

Romo has said everything but “fire the coordinator”

The Steelers offense has failed to score a point in the first quarter in their last 6 games. Let that sink in.

Okafor didn't block anybody on that blitz
D
He does this every week. Last week on a Benny Snell run Okorafor missed a block that McDonald had to pick up freeing up the ILB to make an easy play.

They continue to deny it, but I have to believe that it is something physical with Ben. There's no reason on 3rd and 17 to throw it 7 yards. But week after week that's the game plan. Even mediocre coaches know to change that.

I just noticed something. On that 1st down catch by Johnson when they are in the bunch formation and the Defense has all 11 guys within 5 yds of the LoS.......they are expecting the quick pass......Ben should pump fake it there......with his ability to do that at full speed defenders will come up to break on the ball and they should send one of the WRs on a go route downfield.......they will have no defenders back there. Easy TD. It might be the only way to prevent the Defense from crowding the Line of Scrimmage. It could also open up the running game too

Sorry Tomlin said other teams adjusting to our offense isnt an interesting point. ******* MORON

Anyone still think this OL is good? Ben can’t hold onto the ball for more than 2 seconds, can’t run PA.

Tomlin's five cent words has cause this team to be soft, not one bit of physical play. Good field position and this line allows a two yard gain and a sack, throw underneath, Colts defense gang tackle and now punt. . , Great game plan Tomlin, as he stares , This is a complete melt down and embarrassment.

If the bye is that big of a deal, they should have forfeited one game when they were undefeated, but what do I know.

Yeah that would have made sense to start doing 5 weeks ago. They have to stick to the script.

I've watched Steeler football for 45 years and in all that time, I've never seen a more helpless offense from this organization.

Ben - something is wrong. He either can't throw the ball more than 15 yards anymore due to arm fatigue or he is injured again. Either way, he is ineffective and is wasting a space out there.

O-Line - what needs to be said. Pathetic. Can't run block, can move anyone off the LOS, pass blocking is weak. The entire unit is just awful.

Off Coordinator? Do we have one? Will love to learn why his playbook has been reduced to a single sheet of paper, double-spaced. 5 yard slants must be 80% of our play calls the last month. Working out really well so of course they make no changes. This gameplay looks like the first half at Cincinnati, or Buffalo.

I feel bad for this defense because those guys deserved much better.

Special teams wants in on the suck.. nice.

Again, the Offense is thre and out. Not helping the Defense at all. Later, we’ll hear that the D should have made more plays. smh How about the O makes some plays? That would be a nice change

Guys running downfield past the play opening up gaping holes.

Defense was ready for it. The linebackers played deep ready to step into the throwing lane if Ben took a shot. If he dumped it off they have an easy stop. Bengals did the same thing last week.
