Steelers Elevate Karl Joseph for Sundays Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a few moves on Saturday afternoon ahead of their home game against Denver.

The team announced that they have signed receiver Cody White to the active roster, and released guard Rashaad Coward. Coward had been dealing with an injury and missed last week’s game because of it.


White has played the last two weeks due to injuries to Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool. White will replace James Washington in the lineup tomorrow as he’s out with a groin injury.

The team also will promote safety Karl Joseph to the active roster. Joseph was signed to the practice squad earlier this season. He’s a former first round pick of then Oakland Raiders. He most recently played in the regular season for Cleveland last year.

I think White isn't eligible to go back n forth and be protected anymore. I think that is right. Anywho will be interesting to see if Joseph gets some playing time.
