You can’t deny what’s he did on the field of play, and that is the criteria they use. I’d say yes he does, just a matter of time.

Well, sadly, I would put nothing past this current Steeler organization.
Remember, this is the same organization and leadership that’s still in place when they hung former military West Point American hero player out to dry by sending him out of the locker room to pay respect to the national anthem by himself

The key word there is "Honor" the guy quit on his team and threw everyone he could under the bus.

Definitely not advocating for AB other than pointing out his on field criteria.

Ben was involved in a pretty big off field incident as well, and here we are inducting him in.

I hear yaz loud and clear but also remember to separate what he did here and not to include his after Steelers life.

I think he gets into the Steelers Hall of Honor, time will tell.

AB on the field elite.
Ben was never even charged with anything, Ben never talked bad about the Steelers or his teammates, AB quit on the team right before a must win game, then he threw the entire organization under the bus on the way out the door.

I'm not saying I'd be up in arms if he did make it, but I'm not sure he ever makes it.

Have to disagree DIC..
He didn’t seem to be a very good teammate during his later years with the team, and then, especially after he left the team, with some of the comments he made regarding his teammates and organization.
If it was my organization, I certainly wouldn’t hang up a photo of him on the wall of fame in the company board room…

My take was he will eventually get into the Steelers Hall of Honor, I was only showing what other players have done.

Do I want AB in,……. Currently no but you can’t hide what he did as a StEELERS player.

Same goes for the Hall of Fame in Canton, otherwise you’d have to eliminate a large chunk of those inductees as well.
