The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft was an absolute rollercoaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not many in the media have talked about offensive lineman Max Iheanachor very much because the initial pick was supposed to be wide receiver Makai Lemon. Despite essentially being a second option, the selection of the big man up front suggested that the team is still worrying about the future of Broderick Jones. The left tackle's fifth-year option was recently declined, and the 2026 campaign could be his last in the Steel City, especially if he is unable to suit up and earn himself a new contract.
