Steelers in Worse Cap Position than Most Realize

LOL. no we didn't.
we could have offered him a few coupons to Bettis' bar and grill, but that's it. we're too strapped to the cap to do anything else.

can't you ******* read, kryeao?

Listen,.......I've got our problems solved. We could go out and hire Jessica Jones for two reasons.
1.) She can rip open ATM machines and get cash easily
2.) She would work for wiskey,......has to be good stuff
So as you can see she would fit under the cap and bring in much desperately needed money.

QUESTIONS????

Steelers don't actually take BPA, they take the BPA at a position of need. If you look at the empty roster spots you can predict the positions they need to draft.
With their 7 picks, they are likely to take a OLB to take Moats spot, OT for Hubbard, NT for McCullers, WR for Rogers, ILB for Shazier, CB for Gay and S for Golden.
If they can pick up a cheap free agent to replace one of those spots it makes them more flexible in the draft.

They currently need 5.5 mil to sign draft picks. If they draft a S, they likely cut Wilcox and make up the rest by restructuring Heyward.

lookit 21 dropping all kindsa logic on you fools

fools? i know ark

Did the steelers give up when the germans bombed pearl harbor!?!?! Hell no!!! Cause when the going gets tough; the tough restructures a shitload of contracts!!!!

Blutarsky was used properly.

Burns, Haden, Hilton, Sutton...there was no spot for Gay. They'd be better off with a young prospect at this point as the No. 5.

Golden isn't any good on defense. Solid special teams player, but they're in trouble if he's in the lineup. Again, time to move on.

Beat me to it. Gay and Golden were gone regardless.

Some people don't understand basic math. That's all it takes to be a capologist...

With Morgan Burnett accounting for $2.42 million against the salary cap this year and Jon Bostic $1.5 million, the Steelers have about $3.4 million in cap space. After McCullers signing is added, that number will drop to $3.1-$3.2 million.
