Are the sticking with the oline coach? I would have to look up and see who our WR coach is

I heard on 93.7 the Fan they thought Meyer would be given a new contract.
Glad to see they are looking at outside passing coordinators. Tom Arth from the Chargers sounds like a decent candidate.

Frisman Jackson. Rumors were that Robinson was brought in last year because Jackson wouldn't set the tone in the room. smh. Either way, no big loss if they move on from him.

Ty. For some reason I was stuck on it being Ike hilliard still. But that was a few years ago

Dang good find slash, thanks for posting.

Passing specialist, QB coach, and WR coach. Obviously much needed…………………….

NOW the OL Coach would be HUGE.

I’m sure Smith is in on all these interviews and has a voice in the decision……… I would hope

CHANGE is coming so hold onto the grab bar……..

I hope not I don't think the O-line did that well overall.
Hard to tell honestly. He had the same problems to deal with as the players, trying to make something out of pure ****. I give him an incomplete but with a few promising outings and a few bad ones. Lets see what happens with a cohesive plan and scheme. Now if we could lure Munch back give him the title of running game planner or something and let him teach the line and tutor the line coach.

While he's done some good work, it's only been for about 33% of the season. Two years in a row the line looked like trash for the first 10-12 games before they started to come together. No matter how bad Canada's scheme was, you'd at least expect the offensive line to execute it and not look totally lost out there as they did far too many times in pass protection.

For how poor this offense has been for 3+ years, they need wholesale changes. They can't expect change by keeping things the same.

okay coolie is drunk

i read the thread title and thought "why the **** are they interviewing if there are going to by ZERO staff additions"

the OL coach teaches what the OC installs. The problem with Canada is he seemed to want a little bit of everything. The OL improved after Canada left and the offense got more focused.

That's why Adrian Klemm wanted out. He saw he was set up to fail because Canada was a scattered mess. He didn't know what he wanted. So maybe Meyer is a good OL coach. Maybe he can teach so long as the OC doesn't keep changing the lesson plan.

Bill Cowher had 2 different OL coaches for his entire tenure, Kent Stephenson and Russ Grimm

Mike Tomlin is on his 7th OL coach in 17 years. Munchak held the position for 5 years. That means there were 6 different OL coaches in 12 years. Pathetic hiring record.

For anyone who cares, there has been a persistent rumor all day Sunday from raiders fans that sources are saying they are interviewing Canada Monday... Im not sure if its legit or not, but im guessing its BS since no bigger venue confirmed it

Did they say what position they were interviewing him for? Tackle dummy maybe? He fits the second word in that job title.

The current OL coach is just a blip, fire and get someone better. Giving coaches time to develop is for lesser leagues (HS / College), here in the big leagues——- sink or swim———- or be fired.

We’ve given too much time to coaches to see if they can make it, far too many excuses. I also know that the ”Tomlin “ factor is present as well.

Unless this current OL coach meets our new OC’s criteria, then jettison into the aftermarket coach junkyard. He would have ex-Tomlin cast offs to visit.

Faulkner is the only coach on offense I’d keep.

Per Gerry Dulac-Steelers parting ways with Frisman Jackson
This is basically 3 strikes in a row at that position... Drake gets and Incomplete, may he rest in peace, but they brought in Sherman as interim, then hilliard, then Jackson ...

All three of them had tenure as NFL wr coaches and all three effectively failed

I think the last one that had remote success was Richard Mann who decided to peace out.
