The Pittsburgh Steelers had a pretty solid free agency period in which General Manager Omar Khan addressed several needs. This will allow the team to be creative once the 2026 NFL Draft begins. With 12 total selections, the mid-round picks are certainly going to be in play when it comes to a trade or two. Overall, though, the top needs aren't necessarily a huge secret. Assuming Aaron Rodgers decides to return, the organization still needs help on the offensive line, at wide receiver, and in the defensive backfield. The franchise should be looking to take players at these spots early on.

If Rodgers actually decides to run it back for another year, Khan absolutely has to package some of those 12 picks to move up in the first couple of rounds. You can't just sit on a mountain of mid-round draft capital when you have a 42-year-old quarterback who needs immediate protection and reliable weapons.

Grabbing a day-one starter on the offensive line and a solid WR2 to stretch the field has to be the absolute priority. We don't need 12 rookies making the roster anyway. With Khan operating, I fully expect him to be aggressive and use those mid-round picks as ammo to go get exactly who he wants on days one and two.
