Steelers Lions Game Thread

GA Tech and FSU tied at 14 at the half. FSU has former Clemson, former Oregon State QB DJ Uiuglele (sp?). They need to get some rules for these transfers. Ridiculous to see guys playing for 3 or 4 teams.
Why? Who cares if they transfer thinking they are moving up? These college players are just trying to do what they can to get to the next level.

****! I cannot remember the last 14-0 lead we had? I know, it’s against their second team but they’re doing what they need to do and making it look easy.
First drive we were gifted good field position and had to convert a 3rd and long so I wouldn't say it was easy. Was good to see good blocking on the pass and long run though

Strange that the Q/C issues don't happen with Wilson.

Unlike many, I love gimmick QB packages... they work...

They do work. A run threat QB in short yardage situations freezes the outside contain players which makes it easier to run up the middle. That's why a mediocre RB like Gus Edwards is so effective for the Ravens.

Fields has lots of experience in those situations. He knows when to give, when to keep, and when to throw to a TE that pops wide open.

For years, it has killed me that the steelers get almost no easy TDs to the TE. You see it all around college and pro, goalline situation, play action and the TE sneaks out for an easy TD. Steelers rarely get that.

Fields moved his slightly lifted his leg after he stepped back and that's probably what Frazier saw thinking that was the signal for the silent count.
Getting tapped on the hip by the left guard is usually the signal for the silent count.
