AGAIN, the pocket collapses because whoever we are playing simply cannot handle their man and that knocked the ball out of Allen's hand. Allen's low take back before passing didnt help either, but the OLine is getting abused.

I don't know. Getting game rhythm is still huge.
The one thing I will say ,and I know it’s preseason…….when they hired Arthur Smith the reputation was he liked to use his TE’s. Fans in Atlanta disagree. So far in preseason I have barely,barely noticed our TE’s. Where is our huge guy? Where is Pat?
I sure hope in regular season we see them.

He did use the TEs a lot in Atlanta. What they are really complaining about is he didn't feed Kyle Pitts 100 receptions. I read that Pitts led the league on uncatchable balls. Their QBs were awful.
Must be a kick in the nuts for Smith to get stuck with Mariota and Ridder at QB, then he leaves and they bring in Cousins and spend a 1 on Penix.

I would say we accomplished what we needed the first quarter and a bit. The backups to the backups are playing and the schemes are dialed back.

GA Tech up 21-14 in the 4th. Game 1 of college football could be an upset of #10 FSU.
Go back and watch last game as well as the first half...no real scheming but #83 and #81 showed some flashes of the TE production to expect...
I mean I guess it’s a fine line here. It’s one thing if your starting QB gets injured in regular season. It’s another thing completely getting him injured by playing him too long in preseason. Stuff like that could get a coach fired.

This is pretty vanilla offensive play calling. No one is going to show their hand in preseason. Just doesn’t happen.

Much better than last week. I'm only looking at the starters. The rest of this game is a wash. Anyone can win.
