Steelers lose TE Parham to injury.

Par for the course.
The players of today are supposed to be finely tuned physical specimens.
I don’t recall these type of injuries being this prevalent in the olden days.

Man this just sucks. Was looking forward to the “BIG 13” personnel he was going to be a part of.

The injuries probably still happened, but, for better and mostly worse, the players played through the injuries thanks to lots toughness and lots of injections to numb the pain for the games.

They were not making money like today and needed to stay on the field to stay on the team.

No one plays or played through a ruptured Achillies tendon.

Yep. We all were looking forward to that.

Could be multiple reasons. Back in the day there was less coverage so these injuries might not be reported unless it was a star player. Second I think people are over training their body. People are taking their body past the physical limits which the tendons / ligaments can not handle.

For as obsessed as this team is with blocking Wrs and TEs they should have a 2,000 yard rusher every damn season... and honestly, if you want a throwback offense, what in the ******* illogical dumbassery is their rational for their allergy to using a blocking RB as a FB....?

I swear their offensive philosophy was concocted by a mentally challenged gerbil 🤦🏻‍♂️

Fully agree madinsomniac, thanks for the great poast(s) along the way.

With not having very good QB play many things are magnified. When Ben Roethlisberger was behind center, the Defense still staked and manhandled this offensive scheme (until Ben went rouge).

It’s the scheme / brain-child that is at fault. We have the personnel to run an actual NFL offense, HC chooses this concoction.

He does win more REGULAR season games than he loses, but shouldn’t the goal be higher…..???

The Steelers are ahead of the NFL means, we should all be happy !!!!!

(That’s why the Peyote deliveries are way ahead of last year’s)

(I have one particular customer who exceeds many, but he is willing to work with me on my air drop accuracy —-

Well that sucks! I hate to see these guys go down like this.
Work their entire lives to get to this point and just like that a non contact injury in OTAs to end your season before it gets started.
Speedy recovery to this young man!

we don't play defense. sure, we have defensive players, but they're just ink on paper.

TJ Watt, other wise know as the $41million inc spot.
