Sort of doubt it will come to pass but the Steelers could use a corner upgrade from Pat Pete. Give them Wallace in the exchange..

This guy wants out of Chicago and wants a new contract since rookie deal expires.
I can’t see how they can add this guy who won’t come cheap on a new deal.

They could backload it and or restructure Watt. Two possibilities although long shots...

Yes. We do need a corner. But when our offense consistently gets under 150 yards a game entering the 4th quarter for the last 3+ years I’d really have to think priorities here.

We certainly can’t give up future high draft choices. So ,for me,you have to trade a player.

Or for me.....lets swing for the fences. Chicago must need a new coach by now.
How about a Tomlin for Johnson and 2 firsts? After all he is a first ballot HOF according to most know it all media personal.

I can't see it unless they get him for minimal draft capital. They will have to give him a hefty contract for the trade to go through. There is no reason to give up any draft capital if he is gone at the end of the year. We aren't good enough or close enough to do that this year.

We aren't good enough.......that is probably why the Steelers won't make any moves, as I think even they realize they aren't good enough...

If anything..... we are the team that could be doing fire sales 😩😩

I know I’m exaggerating. But man I’m pissed-off at this teams approach
It starts at the top.

Exactly what I was thinking. Leave a **** team and go to an average team that can't win a playoff game? Dude wants to win a championship.

1. Me likey that proposal. Just because the Gruden-to-Tampa trade was rare doesn't mean a desperate team won't bite. Which brings me to...

2. I doubt Chicago wants to do any more trades with Pittsburgh. The Claypool-sour-taste-in-the-mouth is still fresh.

Wallace with 👀 on social media ..he might be moved .

(Just a guess at this point)

Most guys could give half a **** about winning a championship… he wants a top 5 CB contract and will happily go to wherever they offer him that…

I’m hearing the bears want a big enough price for him that it scared the cowboys off…the third and fifth guess by the media was probably way off

Slash, we’ve put so much money in this defense already. Yes, we need a really good cover corner but most likely we have to give up a second round pick when we need these premium picks to fix this OL next year.
Let’s all face it… we aren’t one player on defense away from making the playoffs. Not with this horrible offense that’s barely averaging 15 ppg.
I’d rather just pass and keep the premium draft picks.

This is a very stupid move unless they are signing him long-term. We shouldn't give up any draft capital for a team going nowhere this year.
Idk. It makes sense in away. Both Pickett and JPJ are on rookie deals so it does help solidify corner.

Could Minkah's injury be season ending and they're thinking of moving Pat Pete to safety?
