Of course they need OL but what team trades away a quality starting OL? It rarely happens. Miami traded Tunsil but they got a fortune for him.
Trading for a fast WR is something that can actually happen. And since he’d be a role player, he can have immediate impact. If they can hit a few deep balls, it would help the OL and the run game tremendously. Part of the run game struggles is that teams are crowding the line. They have no respect for the Steelers deep passing game.
it is possible that the OL could be much better by week 8 or so. Maybe Banner stabilizes things and Green starts to get it at C and the OL could be OK at some point.
If you can get a guy like Mims or Hamler, it really could give some breathing room to the offense while the OL gels.
