I'm sorry, but I can't take anyone seriously that claims that Aaron Rodgers isn't an Elite QB. Or that Matt Ryan and Ben are on equal footing. lmao
I certainly agree but most outside of the Steeler Nation won't. Ben isn't a traditional QB but he is a winner and has won multiple SB's. To me, that makes him elite. He won't get the credit he deserves until he not only wins another SB but puts up a MVP performance in the SB.

Because with Bens size, strength, arm, and god given natural ability he is superior than Brees or Manning but he still (imho) hasn't taken that next step and become a top tier guy. Ryan is definitely further behind but again he has all the ability in the world just has not put it all together. Also, Ryan just turned 29 so there's still a chance but he really needs to take that next big step this year.
To me to be elite it's not just stats its leading your team to victories and making your teammates better.
Are you retarded or just don't read the English language very well? Re-read then please comment an intelligent rebuttal.
How many Packer games have you watched? I watch 16 of them a year. Rodgers strengths is his presnap read and accuracy. But he has an average arm at best and is surrounded with talented weapons. He peaked in 2011 when he had one of the most talented receiving cores every put on field. Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, and having James Jones and Randall Cobb as your 4th or 5th receivers!! And Finley as your tight end. But since then they have slowly taken away his weapons and he has slowly regressed. To me to be elite it's not just stats its leading your team to victories and making your teammates better. You put Manning on a team the team is better. You put Brees on a team the team is better. I put Brady as an * since I don't know what he can or could do without the cheating. So for me he's an incomplete. Rodgers is a very good QB. Like I said on the upper end of the second tier guys but he doesn't make his team or teammates better. They make him look better.
I think you sell Rodgers wayyyyy too short, and yes, I've watched the Packers play before. Without rodgers that group of skill players would barely get any hype, if any. Jordy Nelson, really? Since when did he become terrell owens?? Rodgers is a top-of-the-line qb in this league, he exponentially elevates Green Bay's chances to make it deep in the playoffs. Weak arm? Is this a joke? Some of the prettiest on-the-money passes in the league the last few seasons have come from his arm.
Yeah, Jordy Nelson sucks. His 85 grabs for 1,314 yards last year is ******. Yes, Rodgers is so ******* great that when he gets hurt Matt Flynn just happens to look like a super star also...
Matt Ryan can't hold Ben's jock. Ryan is in the top half of the QB's in the league but that's about it. He is not elite in any way. He has done nothing in his career.
Matt Flynn, woo boy, he sure was a superstar for....for.....one game. Thats it. Agree to disagree on this one, I guess
Sun 12/19 @ NE L 27-31 24 37 251 64.9 6.78 66 3 1 23.0 100.2
His only start in 2010
Sun 1/1 vs DET W 45-41 31 44 480 70.5 10.91 80 6 1 84.9 136.4
His only start in 2011 and he BROKE the packers TD pass record. Yeah, not bad for second start.
Last year after being in Seattle and sucking and Oakland and getting beat out by McGloin he had ok stats in Green Bay. But considering he wasn't with the team until the end of November... not too shabby. I bet if Rodgers goes down this year with a full training camp and preseason Flynn will once again look as good if not better than Rodgers.

I believe absolutely that the Steelers would have won that Superbowl against the Packers had we not had that horrible fumble as we were driving toward a score in the 2nd half. The Steelers were down by as much as 14 or 17, I believe and were coming back and ready to take a lead. We were about to break them. The fumble turned the game around.
I honestly believe if the Steelers score on that drive and take the lead back the Packers fold. I really do. It was a bad break. Utterly missed block, tough hit and it all went to hell.

I'll take that bet, Flynn better than Rodgers?
Just can't see it happening
