Ya know having been living in the great state of Texas specifically Houston, I rely on streaming the Pittsburgh sports radio stations. I listen to them all but I must say, I really miss Stan Savran every day.
Very knowledgeable, polite,always allowing his callers to vent, insightful and he always told it like it was.
You are truly missed! R.I.P. Stush!

I don't think I was aware Stan had passed until I saw this thread. I'm not sure where I was living at the time, but I want to say I had a Fox Sports package through Direct TV that used to include a Fox channel out of Pittsburgh allowing me the opportunity to watch SportsBeat. I really enjoyed that show.

I moved from Pittsburgh in 79 and I remember him with great memories. Everytime I came home I enjoyed listening to him, RIP.
