The thing is his first preseason was gonna be a lose lose.... if he played like a typical sixth round rookie, the wheels were coming off the bandwagon in a hurry..

If he did anything good, it would get overhyped and the fanboys would be screaming for him to leapfrog the other two and start after every incompletion... and that can get awkward... now he can practice nfl accuracy and learn the playbook in peace for a bit

I thought he had an outside chance. Less due to how the team plays vets.

But yeah the odds that he will be anything more than a third out the gates just increased.

Odds of a QB drafted early just increased as well.
