Steelers, Rudolph deny use of racial slur in brawl

They announced he was probably going to be fined not long after it happened. Basically for scuffling with Garrett on the ground and then charging after him after getting his helmet ripped off. They will probably assert that he contributed to escalating the situation.

And he did. We can’t be homers about this. He had a role, Pouncey had a role, as did the the Brown’s player. All of them helped escalate a bad situation. Of all four, I’d say Pouncey’s was the least.

So powerful yet they call each other it... odd.

Another ill fated attempt to take the sting out of a very ugly expression. Regardless of whether it’s right or wrong for blacks to use the expression amongst themselves it’s just ignorant to suggest that it’s the same thing as the term being used as a hateful racial epitaph. If you can’t understand the contextual difference, it’s because you choose not to.

"African American" is a retarded thing to say. Identifying an entire race of people by their assumed continent of origin. Using that convention we should all be either African American, Antarctican American, Asian American, Australian American, European American, North American American, or South American American. That would be stupid though, right?

Actually, a lot of those expressions ARE used.

If you want people to stop using the word, then stop using it yourself... if you can't understand that then you lack common sense.

No they aren't.

**** Americans.

Lots of people move/emigrate to places away from their origins and dont need "special" names.
There are no Caribbean Brits, or Russian Brits, or British Argentines or African Canadians.

Absurd, y'all esteem lacking Americans.

Only the NFL fines a player that could have been injured for life when attacked numerous times with a helmet

I’ve never witnessed a more horrible indoctrination into the NFL that Rudolph has experienced.

Actually feel terrible for the kid.

Hope he has a breakout game tomorrow.. but I don’t know how he can put this all behind him and focus on improving his game

The use of the term “cracker,” is an inadequate attempt to counter balance the use of the “n” word. The fact that it falls so woefully short is an indication of just how powerful the “n” word really is.
The N word has power? Who gives it power? How did it get that power? The reason Cracker has no power is white peoples lack of a response to it's use. Not because the N word is so "powerful" and the C word is weak.
