Steelers signing swing OT Le’Raven Clark

Way back in the “hay day” Rick Springfield did an interview with (I think time or Life) magazine. He came out with his picture on the cover and the head line was a Bruce Springsteen head line.

A couple weeks later Springfield came out with a song and the main line was “they called me BRUCE” it made the charts so win win for him.

I’m wondering if that’s the OLBand he is talking about ???

If they draft a tackle doesn't this guy get cut?
Really sat on this thinking about it. As I think he is the only mediocre signing. I do understand it. But I think he makes it to camp and he competes with a drafted and maybe even a late round additional T or undrafted. His experience gives him a nod if it is close ( in regards to the late or undrafted T) but I definitely wouldn't call him a lock to make the final 53.

Speaking of names, holy mother of mercy I just remembered this guy.

No joke, his full name was Cleveland Pittsburgh Crosby.

I had moved up to Cleveland in the early 80's. I remember an incident when Sam Rutigliano kicked Crosby out of a team meeting because he had on a Steeler T shirt.
Unfortunately, I can't find any links to this story.
