Steelers Texans game thread.

Remember when people laughed at other fans for saying that when Ben was gone Tomlin would be exposed?

I got tired of being laughed at.

If your wondering how Pickett has progressed as a QB since joining the NFL look at that 3rd & Goal play...busted coverage by Texans....Heyward wide open right behind Pickett's target and he's just locked onto his WR and not going through his reads. That's very disappointing to see from our 2nd year QB.

We need a takeaway. Now

Good D.

Now let's see Tomlins coaching tree

He is probably ruined… feeling tge pressure or looking for it when it isn’t coming… its why you should have a oline before you start getting skill guys

Yowza!

Could part of the Developement of our 1st round pick QB be the OC mentor ?

Salute the nation

There really wasn't any pressure on that pass play by the Texans. He had time to throw there!

This. He will never be Ben, but the scheme is garbage. It impacts a player, IMO

Wow, broadcast just showed Mike Shanahan's coaching tree 2010-2012:

Kyle Shanahan
Mike McDaniel
Sean McVay
Matt Lafluer
Did they happen to show Tomlin's coaching tree as well?

Yep. Saw that live, saw Kenny looking that direction, and he throws it ... to the guy with two defenders on him rather than the guy with none.

Good thing they didn't throw a ball to Darnell Washington down there. I am absolutely sure the Texans have a 6'8", 280 lb. linebacker who can cover him.
and this is what worries me about Kenny. He throws to the guy who is covered and misses the wide open guy.

How long did it take Josh Allen to become a top QB? I have always read it took Allen a couple of seasons to develop, but I didnt follow him. Is that right? Im hoping that its right so maybe there is hope for KP.
