Steelers/Texans game

I think the opposite.
I feel a win at home on Monday night against the Texans would be easier than winning in New England next week.

It wouldn’t surprise me if everything goes go our way tonight, but next week we won’t be able to do anything right looking like clowns.
That scenario has been played many times before.
Look at the bright side...if we win only this game we get Tomlin for the next 30 years......

We will let you know how it turns out. Which is only one of two ways.

Happy rah rah faces or sad angry faces. I was hoping for a blizzard during the game, but that's not happening.
I'm actually not hammered, but I did crack open my first beer not long ago. I'm kind of a light weight. If I finish it before the game starts, I might not make it to the end.

DK will attract attention away and Aaron will hopefully play more tempo and call his own stuff and feed Muth and a few to Smith as well over the middle. Once that gets going Austin can be used for easy out routes, comeback slants, or the Deep ball.
I would love DK and Auatin both running deep crossers, and whichever gets more seperation Aaron throws that could be like the Minney game DK short-mid pass and turbo speed to the house.
Keep the blitz creative different guys lining up at thier non usual spots like Herbig at MLB, Ramsey MLB slot blitz.

Not sure the Texans have the offense to run away with it, as long as the Steelers offense doesn't turn the ball over several times.

I think the Texans will win, but I honestly feel better about this one with Dylan Cook at LT than I would have with Broderick Jones still playing.

The Steelers blocking overall has been noticeably better with Cook, and that's important against a defense like the Texans.

Running is probably going to be tough, but getting Metcalf back is a pretty big deal, as hopefully it opens up more room for Rodgers and Freiermuth to continue some of what they established last week.

Seriously, if they don't target Freiermuth 5+ times in this game, they may as well just trade him in the off-season because that contract makes no sense otherwise.
Agree with all except... Steelers will win tonight!!!

SB win? I'd say that's a bit delusional, but Godbless ya for the hope you hold in your heart!

I think the Texans are beatable, but our offense (particularly the line) will have to have their best showing of the season to get it done
Put me in the delusional pool. Baptize me!!!

What does everyone think Metcalf will do? Will he be a difference maker? Will he open our O up? Or will we just throw screens and 4 yard hooks/outs to him all game?. Will Muth be a bigger factor in the passing game? Or will Austin or Gainwell out preform him?
The game plan obviously will be different. Especially because Washington is out; but I'm still rolling with our offense over theirs in a playoff scenario... why???

I'm still convinced we have to run downhill on them. I think they want to get Aaron on the ground quick and set the tempo...don't let them.

"This is the first time Tomlin enters a playoff game with a hall of famer."

What?!?!?!?!

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Dude, just let it all out, sing loudly, scream hard and drink fast……………. Coolie’s on his way….

Salute the nation
