Steelers trade for DK

Going 3 wide now, time to trash the constant double TE sets.
 
Who is gonna throw him the ball? The Steelers are not one player at any position away from contention. They need lots of help. Sure, he’ll help, but our offense is retarded schematically, so I’m not sure this makes a huge difference.

Double. We ran the most triple TE sets last season.

That said. If we don't start using every inch of the field on offense as every other nfl down to high school football teams do....we could have twin Jerry Rice players and it wouldn't matter.

Tomlin had best run a real Offense or Metcalf and Pickens will be locker room cancers by week 6

I mean on paper if he and Pickens are serious we could be set for a while on the receiving end. Gotta believe they bring Wilson back. Fields isn't coming back as Pickens has aready said he's rather have Russ.

If they bring back Wilson or Fields not sure the signing would make sense…
 
Why we never made trades like this when we had Ben is mind boggling. Now we have no qb. We haven't had a nfl caliber offense in years......and we do this trade. Excited to see the player come here. Afraid to see what offense we have put him into.

Then we have our D issues schematicly. Probably will extend Watt for record $$$$$. In the end if Tomlin doesn't move on from his failures......we simply are doomed to repeat past failures. I see zero reason to think otherwise sadly. I truly hope Tomlin/Omar/Rooney SHOW me that I am wrong.

Do we go after Darnold now? Who throws the ball for us? And if we move onto a real offense.....we still have to deal with the schematicly flawed D that we have thrown out there yearly moving on close to a decade. Can we really expect Tomlin to see his failure on BOTH sides of the ball in one offseason and move on from them both? 🤔
 
I am reading we are extending Metcalf for 4 years at $132 mill. Anyone else reading this?

At this stage.....I agree with you. Bring him in Omar. Tomlin...let Smith run a real offense scheme. Rooney mandate everything I just wrote. Get it done!!!!!
