I wasn't talking about the SB really. I remember Mendenhall having to work on his Blitz pickup/blocking. He was very hesitant at first.Allar....the bestest ever!!!!!
Mendy was a good RB.even above average......SB loss was on Johnson....or Tomlin for putting Johnson in that position.....2 free defenders running to Mendy.....Johnson as the FB...runs by both....doesn't try to chip either one. Both hit Mendy at the same time.....one high and one low.....he fumbles. Perhaps if Johnson attempted to block ONE of them....who know what the out come would have been.
Film didn’t show that. They never threw the ball to see if he could.

Yea once he was in camp it was bad. Just saying it was more of an unknown before that. I don’t know if it is a case of inability or unwillingness.
Yep....all unknown. Perhaps after ot WAS known it simply was horrible Coaching and teaching. It looks like either way now it was simply a horrible pi k by Coach T at that spot unfortunately.
He can't block. What is hard to understand about that exactly?
