Steelers vs Jets Preseason

I like the way Drew delivers the ball. Very smooth! Would love to see him with the 1’s and 2’s. Not these ******* scrubs. They would make Brady look bad.
 
One thing is for certain..
And I don’t know how anyone can disagree with this…
But they still need Mason Rudolph to make the squad..
And not necessarily because of are two young men behind Rodgers , but mainly because of the poor offensive line play….
If they don’t improve no way does Rodgers play the entire 17 game schedule…
And Mason Rudolph still gives the Steelers the best chance to win behind Aaron Rodgers.
Like it or not.
 
Boys I know it’s early but Drew Allar I think is the real deal. I like the way he carries himself out there. His throws are without much effort and they look like they’re shot out of a cannon. Very effortless and well timed and delivered.
This kid looks like the real deal. He just needed to be in the right situation with solid coaching which he didn’t get at PSU.
I have a good feeling about him. One I never had with a young Rudy or Will Howard. Allar just looks natural out there.
I know he was playing against future grocery sackers but man a lot of those passes were right on the money. Just too bad he was throwing to scrubs!

Yeah the Oline and scrub *** WRs did him no favors.

We aren't a contender with Rodgers, Mason is just stealing reps from the young QBs

That one pass--we all know which one--was a jaw dropper. Aller wasn't great tonight, but you're right, those guys weren't even practice-squad level players. Just terrible effort from the OL and WRs.
