Steelers vs Packers pre game discussion

On D, we are just about neck and neck with GB in points allowed (19 to 20) but they lead us in yards given up (11th to 31st).

Shhhh...the national narrative is to sleep on the Packers D. We like it that way. Just starting to get the injured players back a little bit.

And the offense is extremely young. Losing starting LT(Bakh) for the season after week one was a major blow. Aaron Jones hurt also after week one. Those 2 were the solid rocks and leaders of the offense. Losing them threw the whole offense into a tailspin. Just now getting Aaron Jones back healthy. Totally different offense when he is on the grass.

Also takes a little time for an offense of mostly rookies and 2nd year players to start clicking on all cylinders.

The Packers certainly are not pleased to be 3-5. Every game is a must win right now. This is a business trip. One focus, bring back that dub.

I like the Packers chances Sunday..

We will soon see what happens.

Almost every raw stat favors green bay by a bot, but adjusted for strength of schedule vs who they played, and it favors Pittsburgh a bit..

Jaire Alexander and Quay Walker missed practice for a 2nd day this week today. High danger of both being out this week. Those two are massive pieces in the Packers D.

LaFleur seemed agitated af about the injuries when asked. With Rasul traded and Stokes on IR still. That leaves a 7th round rook and Ballentine, who was on the practice squad until a few weeks ago as the 2 outside CBs Sunday.

Pickett has mentioned Jaire a few times already this week.

"They have an elite corner in 23(Jaire Alexander)," Steelers QB Kenny Pickett said.
"Obviously, his resume speaks for itself."

Pickett will do cartwheels if Ja can't go Sunday.

Oh well, no excuses. Go get that dub at "Acrisure" or whatever that corporate owned stadium is called now.

Steelers incompetent OC Matt Canada moved from the booth down to the field and the steelers had their best offensive performance of the year, but still only scored 20. Maybe Canada can call this game from a tunnel under the stadium and score 24. Wisconsin was smart enough to only give him 1 year as OC.

Occasionally on a game week I will stop by one of the opposing teams fan forums. Not really that big of a deal. Doesn't mean I'm interested in the Steelers, outside of the fact they are the Packers opponents this week.

When I say no excuses, I am talking about the Packers, not the Steelers. I have discussed some injuries, but no one is feeling sorry for the Packers. There is no excuse for being 3-5 right now. Totally unacceptable. This is a must win game for the Packers. Whoever is healthy enough to be cleared by the doctors will be on the grass Sunday.

Should be a good game. Looking forward to it.

We haven’t fared well in the regular season overall against you guys. Farve only won once in 1992 and Rodgers only once in 2021. I remember the year you guys won the SB in 2005 we kept it close but Troy Polumalu had a fumble return for a TD that sealed our fate.
