Hey Steeler Nation ......... I just got home ....
I started this thread hoping to share the final game of the season with you all...... cue the internet/phone/tv service doing work in the area an hour before the game.... finally got ahold of ROGERS and they said they would be done by midnight with the repairs.... *******

I had no way to watch the game so I had to go to one of my brother's houses to watch the soggy bowl and the late game...at the last minute

Well we did our part ....... now we hope for the Jags or Bills to lose..........
I guess I have some reading to catch up on .......... I see 53 pages worth
 
Some of the holds in that game on Watt, Highsmith abd Especially Golden on the play where Hundley fell snd he got sack were so bad this crew should be investigated for gambling bribes. And that is not exaggerated or hyperbole.
 
I heard the espn called Rudy "Clark Kent." That's epic. I hope it happened.

I was quoting a Steelers fan that said: "If the Packers had taken care of business they wouldn't need to rely on other teams."

It is not trolling to correct people. The fact is that the Packers control their own destiny. Steelers are the ones needing to rely on other teams.

Facts matter and corrections should be made when Steelers fans post false information.

You really prove yourself to know absolutely nothing. The Packers fan base worldwide is larger than the Steelers. If you want to continue posting false information, then I will continue making you look like a fool.

Both fan bases are great. Just so happens the Packers is larger worldwide. That tends to happen when a team is the most successful and winningest franchise in the history of the NFL.

I have never seen packer fan take over an opposing stadium like Steeler Nation does

it doesn't matter if it is east coast, west coast, Texas or anywhere else

Steeler Nation makes it's known they are there and in big numbers

You have not been to many Packers games then. Both the Packers and Steelers travel well.

The point is that the Packers fan base is larger worldwide. I'm not trying to lie like you and say that the Steelers have a small fan base. I have stated that both fan bases are among the largest in all of sports. Just the fact that Packer Nation is larger and been around much longer as well..

The fact is a week ago when that was posted the Packers were relying on the Steelers beating the Seahawks to be in a position to control their own destiny this week. So what was the false information in that post?

steeler fans don't have to travel they are already there

I have met Steeler fans in every city I have ever visited in this Country

I have met one packer fan in my whole 57 years

Given your really concerned with factual accuracy in a previous post have you got a link to the worldwide survey that you used to compare the global fanbases of the Steelers and Packers? Being in Australia I can't recall ever seeing anyone wearing Packers gear. I've even seen people here wearing Bengals, Browns and Vikings, yet no Packers.

You do know that worldwide extends beyond the vacuum between your ears don't you?

The false information was that the Steelers were and are actually the ones needing help getting in. Yes, the Steelers beating Seattle worked in the Packers favor, but it wasn't crucial in the Packers getting in. The Packers beat Minnesota and need to beat Chicago to get in.

You will be rooting for Tenn and/or Miami tomorrow. I will be rooting for the Packers.

You said you were correcting false information. When the statement was made the Packers needed help (from the Steelers or Arizona). And yes, the Steelers beating the Seahawks was pretty important, given they were the more likely team to pick up the win over the Seahawks. You can twist and turn, somersault and backflip all you like - your statement that you were correcting false information was WRONG. The statement as made (not what you are trying to twist it into) was 100% factually correct.

I would tend to believe data from an Aussie regarding his country than a troll packer fan trying to impress a message board who really doesn't give a **** about his team or opinion

Several years ago I almost missed my boat to see the great Barrier reef because I was watching the Steelers beat the Jets in a Steeler bar around 8AM in the morning. I was drinking, but some of the Aussie Steeler fans were trashed...... Steeler fans everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!
