Ben is ENTIRELY the reason we lost this game. He has been great all year and put up yards because of the new offense and the philosophy of keeping him upright by getting rid of the ball quick(relative for Ben of course) but when an opposing D jams our recievers and pressures him he is not able to make quick enough decisions and quick throws. He is what he is, and what he will never be is Tom Brady, and in effect, elite.

Our D gave up plenty of points also, but yeah Ben sucked ***

CLETE something. Only reason I remember is because my dog's name is Cletus and we call him CLETE. Apparently this ref has the intelligence of a 10 year old Bassett Hound.

As for tonight, There was a lot of poor execution tonight, stupid penalties and bad turnovers. The offense self destructed and the defense not only bent, they broke.

Franchise QB - what has it done for us in the last how many years?

While it will suck to find another QB going forward, I am ready to see him traded. We need 5-8 starters to get back in regular contention, trading Ben could get us 2-3 of them.

Need to pull off a Hershel Walker type of trade.

No elite offense should be shutdown just because the RB is out NO MATTER WHO THE RB IS...go back and watch old tape of Aikman when Emmitt Smith was out, still got the job done. Ben is what he is.

we played not to lose from the onset!!!! didn't play to win!!! we shudda attacked their secondary from da get go...get them on their heels then hit the underneath stuff....then run a little....then go deep

You don't need Joe Montana in Haley's system. If you can turn Ben into something resembling a pocket QB you can easily run it with an average college prospect or a veteran journeyman.

I however am not in favor of trading Ben...not with the offense we have assembled.....we do need to hit on a safety and some corners in this draft....and sign a pass rushing OLB specialist or go grab a ballhawking free agent corner.....Oh we need a faster big TE as well.....like i said earlier Gilmore woulda been nicer in black n gold.....since Archer was basicallly invisible all year....
