Not to harp on this but does anyone have clarity on the K-ball issue before halftime? How does a team get a stoppage with no timeouts and only seconds on the clock if the kicking ball is not on the field? Shouldn't they have to use the regular ball if clock is winding? Why do they get to put the K-ball into play with a running clock seconds before halftime? I've never heard of this scenario coming up.
