Steelers vs Titans game thread.

Don't get me wrong - he's not the total problem. I support him 100%; but open your eyes - KP8 was outplayed by Levis tonight by 100+ yards. The bomb to CA3 probably shrinks the gap but 160 yards passing won't sustain for long...

Yes, the missed TD by George stung but he rarely makes mistakes so he gets a pass today.

Some clamored for Kenny to lose the gloves - I think that is not the right decision either because he may lose grip on the ball. JMO...
Levis wasn't playing with busted ribs, and while he threw for 100 more yds, Kenny 1td (should've been 2), Levis 1int

And Kenny had no problem throwing a bomb to CAIII in LV, which tells me his ribs were affecting him

2TD throws is decent.

I think the injury was in his head then he focused in.

I would still take this outcome over great for three quarters and ****** in the 4th and tossing an INT.

Winning will always be my number 1 want over stats.

Just win Kenny ******* ⛏️!

If you watch that replay, he can't step into that throw. He's got pressure right up the middle and actually throws it off his back leg. Had he been able to step up, different story.

But he flat out missed DJ twice with high balls, and sailed that one to Pickens on the drag route. And he knows it, he said in the interview after the game he was pissed at himself for missing throws.

Let's be honest here, while Canada called a better game tonight, there's a reason "fire Canada" has been all over the country. The offense has done Pickett no favors and asking him to progress as fast as other QB'S just isn't feasible right now. And he's still in his second year, it's not like this is year 3-4. No reason to give up on him yet.

Even the great Brock Purdy has come crashing down to earth in the 49ers much better offense.

Another poster making sense. Man oh man.

VERY true in the honesty part. O’Canada calls a better game when compared to previous games of his, couple that in with a victory and suddenly some think he is a genius. He still sucked when looking at the average OC’s league wide. His output for this game is way below average league wide. We have been so geared to sucktitude that when we get less sucktitude, we think AWESOME.

A positive for the players here :::::: ONLY team ever in the NFL that has been out gained and yet have a winning record, at this point in the season.

That's really what matters most. Not doing some bone head play when the game is on the line. Everything else will come, but being clutch in crunch time is a trait of high value.

Don't forget when Ben came in he had a badass power running game as our bread and butter. We haven't had that in years. Last night was just a flash of what could be. It's a step in the direction of no longer being a one dimensional offense.

1 out of 2 deep balls complete and you're going to call that on the rib injury??? Maybe. Or...maybe Kenny needs strength training? It doesn't matter because strength doesn't excuse the wide open overthrown crossing pattern to George or the worm burner to Robinson in the endzone.

We can agree to disagree on this one...

Did you just see the jet sweep and rebound pass to take all the air out of our 55-play drive??

talk about a morale-killer.
I hear you but for Canada he called a great game, even the broadcasters were calling out Kenny

A good QB throws atleast 4 TD's against Tenessee, the Pickens endzone catch is a touchdown if thrown by a QB with better timing/arm/ feel for the situation. Kenny looks slow motion out there, locks in and looks receivers down forever before throwing. Telegraphing the play.

Are you saying you are privy to information that the rib injury wasn't effecting Kenny last night?

I think we have to chalk it up as a possibility but an unknown.

So do the ribs only hurt on his missed throws, or did they magically heal for the 90 yard drive at the end?

Maybe the whole time. I have no idea neither does Joe blow is my point.😉

You've got to be kidding me, right? How does one even begin to make that ridiculous assessment? So no blame to Pickens for not toe dragging the 2nd foot?

I'm not acquitting Kenny for his inaccurate passes this season. He doesn't get a pass from me. He has been consistently inaccurate. But for anyone to say this he's just plain 'ole inaccurate has memory loss issues. Lest we forget, for one example, that late TD toss to Najee vs. the Ravens last year? Didn't we all say he was channeling Big Ben on that play?

So, yes, he's been consistently inaccurate this year and it's fixable, if only he and those responsible for coaching him up do their job.

He was accurate enough with those 3 come from behind victories.

Another benefit is it gives us an identity, instead of just wondering around out there. Put a job in front of someone, clearly defined and you will get results.

Look, in the modern NFL and even the not modern NFL, QB's are often discarded quickly. There are stories on top of stories of NFL QB's that stunk for 2, 3 or even 4 years and then maybe a change of scenery or coaching and the player blossomed. Not always, but enough to be more than anecdotal.

Also, the odds of a team having two franchise QB's back-to-back is slim at best.

I don't know what Kenny Pickett will become. We can blame some of his problems on Canada or Tomlin or the OL, but the fact remains that he has issues with accuracy, consistency, mechanics and reading the defense. Coaching can help, but it won't solve every issue. I'm hoping he finds one of those guru coaches that many players go to in the offseason to improve those things. He doesn't have to be Big Ben for this team to win, but he has to be much better if the Steelers have any designs on contending for a championship.

So Kenny's innacuracy is tied to coaching?
Dionte drops a pass the coaches fault too?
How about when Najee mis reads where the hole is and runs into the back of his own blocker?
All the coaches fault??
Kenny is the only one who controls whether the pass is accurate or not. If you believe otherwise you need professional help.
Talk about a ridiculous assessment

Kenny has been playing football for 20 years or close to it. if he ain't accurate by now waiting for him to all the sudden be coached up to become a super accurate passer is ridiculously stupid.

Sorry bigben, players can be coached up…… I just don’t think this coaching staff has the ability to do that.

Nobody can blame canada or the run game if we lose tonight. Passing game just can't execute
Blaming Canada or the run game won't be valid if we lose tonight. The issue lies with the passing game's inability to execute. Plus, we could really use a free tablet right about now to analyze those plays better.
