Tomlin would never hire a QC coach. Doesn't even have anyone to review for challenges. He knows all 🤣
 
I hate it. OUR problems are glaring. Forget tackling for a lose, coverage forget it. Physical forget it, no one attacks the ball stand and wait and then chase ball carrier. Any not surprised Steelers scored before half. I thought we would play better than this. Let's throw in defensive coach laughing down 22 -0

A couple of turnovers to even things up and anything can happen. It would be nice to have a coaching staff capable of doing their part and we rarely see evidence of that.

Well if they force a 3 and out right away it might help. We will play our soft D and give them the underneath stuff probably though.

This has been discussed ad nauseam on this board. He has the smallest coaching staff in the league and so many times there is no attention to detail. Do you think Belicheat has these issues? No. Every minute and mundane detail is covered.
 
Thinking back to the start of the game, the Steelers really thought they were going to go run-run-pass and just dominate on the ground, didn't they?

Yep, I among others will have a lot of crow to eat if they make a comeback. I'll take that plate too if it means we stay alive.

I mean watching the Steelers be "the Steelers under Mike Tomlin", it's strangely satisfying and wildly self-affirming!

Belichick also has one of the smallest coaching staffs in the league...

It has more to do with, whichever former player said it, he expects the veterans to handle their business and the coaching staff basically doesn't quiz the players to make sure they're doing their job.
