Stephon Tuitt. Have we already seen his best season?

Think so? Bush, Edmund's, Burns, Watt, Shazier, Dupree, Heyward, Jones (gone but could still be playing), Hood (gone still playing)
Vs.
Ben, Pouncey, Decastro and I cannot think of anyone else on offense recently who was drafted 1st round and is on another team or could still be playing. Ben and Pouncey go back a hell of a long ways. Decastro not much less.

Lol.....it's like RayRay jumping on the pile, inflating his stats. The Defense of this year was what was mentioned. And you have to throw in Ben Pouncey and Decastro. And then to really make it look good you throw on Hood,Jones and Shazier. Lordy,Lordy. I didn't realize they were still on our team.

Dude,

AB was a rarity. Insurance is supposed to be something you can depend on. A sixth-round pick doesn't fit the definition of insurance.

Insurance means - a practice or arrangement by which a company or government agency provides a guarantee of compensation for specified loss, damage, illness, or death . There is no guarantee Buggs will make the team, and if he does he might not even get a hat for game day.

For every 6th round pick like Brown, there a 100 more that were are cut within one to three years. While I didn't exactly do the math for you, I can bury you with Steeler examples if needed.

Also don't misquote me to get out your Dan Marino won a super bowl mode, or this " insurance " business in the form of a 6th round pick

We know how old Cam is. If Tuitt goes Woodley on the Steelers we are in trouble. Like I said as soon as Ben has a noticeable decline, its time to cut cap space and find a real head coach who can re-build.

Garbage. You cannot 'have your cake and eat it too'.

Stick to the debate - you said that Buggs isn't insurance as a 6th round pick. I said he is - and based on his, Bugg's, pedigree - he is more than worthy of 'insurance' status.

My Freudian slip on Dan Marino is your 'highlight' but I owned up to my mistake. You not so much.

Oh, while I detest the person, Thomas Brady, 7th round draft pick, says, "hi"...

Shazier is hurt. The other two would still be Steelers if they didn't bust. Point is how many assets do the Steelers have to throw at the defense to make it good. 7 straight first round picks. 5 still on the team. What that tells me is Tomlin cannot fix **** with scheme and teaching which is what I've always said. He can only use better players to mask an odor. Well how long till the offense has become so neglected that it starts to stink.
Oh and PS. In that seven straight defensive first round picks 3 times the second was also defense. That is 10 out of a possible 14 premium picks went defense. And someone believes Tomlin can actually coach defense. Christ if he had the 86 bears or the Best Steelers defense of the 70's they would be pretty good.

Man oh man. It’s like a broken record going around and around. We get it. You’re not suckin coach T’s dick anytime soon. It was simply an observation that I thought most teams around the league would have 3-5 first round picks starting on their D. And that I was too lazy to look it up.

But you have to make it about Tomlin .......again. And again. “ the other two would be Steelers if they didn’t bust” lol. But they did...”Shazier is hurt” no ****. Must be smoking some funny stuff out there on the old Prairie.

By the way,I am not a huge Tomlin supporter. I would have fired him after the Denver/ Tebow disgrace. To make no adjustments, was simply unbelievable.

I no long have as much time to put ignorant people in their place. I guess by your definition Sutton is insurance for Watt, as he too was a 6th round pick,.

I think I found your problem. You're in a perpetual phase of Freudian slips. Tom Bray was a 6th round pick, not a 7th! :smile1: LOL, what's next?

Dan Marino won a super bowl
Brady was a 7th round pick
A sixth-round pick offers a team insurance.

What is this, three slips that I am aware of in about a month? You are on a roll, keep posting pretty please.

Please tell me you were educated in Bermuda and not the USA.

You sure have room to talk......ignorance absolutely loves you.

As mentioned previously, and these were not “slips” on your part but down right statements of beliefs.....

Ed Oliver prediction that he wouldn't be drafted before # 10 in the first round.

Devin White not getting drafted in the top 8 of the 1st round and but of course......

Troy Polamalu wouldn't be a good player because "his head is too big".

Hell, Coach won't even admit that Le'Veon Bell was a better draft pick than Eddie Lacy.

Think about that **** for a minute.

And as far as already seeing Stephon Tuitt's best season, I hope the hell we haven't, the guy is only 26 years old.

Maybe this new DL coach and a fully healthy Tuitt will give us his best season coming up. He's getting paid to be pretty elite.

First off its West Coast Rock Star. It ain't "funny" its ****** awesome. And if it was 3-5 guys you would be right. That probably is the NFL average. Its 7 straight. And by God it better be fixed this year cause really....... what does it take?

What did Bell ever do for us besides shrink like a raise in the sun in the playoffs, get hurt and suspended...twice. At the time when that coment was made Lacy was in shape and won rookie of the year. Who knew he's gain a lot of weight and Bell would lose it. So quote me what I said it at the time, not as if I said it now.

Bell exited with a stench, and he wont do as well on the Jets. As Conner showed he's better in many areas. It's our OL, Ben, and the skill players around him that helped Bell do well. Sorry but 4.0 a carry does not impress me.

Can someone tell this guy this difference between speculation and facts? If say something as dumb as Bermuda does in hindsight with known facts, then maybe you'd have point.

No. I asked you just a few months ago if you would admit that Le'Veon Bell was a better draft pick than Eddie Lacy, and you wouldn't even address it. Simple yes or no was all I asked. You couldn't even do that.

My ignorant self can spell "longer". My ignorant self does not need to explain to you that you are the 'court jester' around here.

My ignorant self was educated in both the US and Bermuda - I don't need to prove that to you either - nor do I need to type is larger font to get my point across.

It's going to be a treat meeting you face to face...

Coach just made it personal with Berm, I wonder if he would be man enough to say that to his face ...

I'd pay for that show, buy some popcorn too.

Can someone tell this guy this difference between speculation and facts? If say something as dumb as Bermuda does in hindsight with known facts, then maybe you'd have point.

You wagered a Mod that a player (Ed Oliver) would not be drafted before a certain draft slot (10th). FACT - the player was drafted before the 10th selection.

You speculated/opined and even solicited another wager that Devin White would not be drafted before a certain draft spot (8th). FACT. White was drafted well before the 8th selection. Additionally, you never acknowledged your own wager, purposely ignoring requests to fulfill it.

Oh and no need repeating your statement about Polamalu. That has become this board’s canon on your asinine understanding of what is speculation and what is fact.
