I really want the Lions to win it this year, but their defense is just too decimated and I don’t trust their coach to not make a bone-headed decision on 4th down to throw a game. I actually think it’s going to be a Bills/Packers Super Bowl. Hoping Lions though.

Agree and it's a tough pill to swallow. I honestly think the Steelers could be a contender if game planning and adjustments during the game, etc were made. It's not like our talent sucks.

Why? Dickerson needed 16 games to break a record set in 14 games. Nobody seems to remember that.

Dickerson's record should be viewed in that context as well, though I'm not sure how many rushing attempts he had compared to OJ or how many Barclay currently has.

It's still a significant record to break, but it's not exactly a direct comparison if one player had a lot more opportunities.

Things like that happen from time to time when division winners are guaranteed a home game.

In the infamous "Tebow game," a 12-4 Steelers team had travel to Denver to face an 8-8 Broncos team.

I think division winners should get a playoff spot, but the seeding should be done by record.
