Super Bowl 50 game thread.

To think we could of/probably should of beat Denver. To me their defense didn't look great against us. Was it us? Maybe. In the end they made a play to beat us ...Congrats Denver.

No doubt, we are a pass rusher and a good DB away.
 
Nothing could be finer than to live here in Caroliner and see Newton show his true color. He came oh so close when knocked down to lose it and we have seen it many times here. Today as I was around town and at stores I saw not one Carolina Panthers item wore by anyone or not one poster or flags in front of a house, they just don't get it here. Can you imagine living three hours from Pittsburgh all the Grandmothers in Giant Eagle with their Steeler sweat shirts on. Carolina thought this was a wash out for them and as I watch Cam on the sidelines at least he does not have his towel over his head when all goes wrong for him.
 
Congrats to the Broncos! What a phenomenal job by their defense.
 
Very few qbs could have done much against Denver tonight playing behind that line, and with those receivers. When the d gets pressure like that, and you don't have quality wideouts, no qb is going to get it done. We played them better than anyone down the stretch. If we had been healthy, we might be lifting the Lombardi tonight. Single plays can make all the difference. If Sanders doesn't knock that ball away from Gay in the fourth quarter, Denver's season comes to an end 3 weeks ago.

Would be nice to dip into FA and help fill a hole or two on day one of FA period.
 
Cam is not thug but he is kind of a petulant child when things start going badly, I will say that.

Von Miller and Ware played the best back to back playoff games I have seen. Of course the rest of their line had something to do with it. What a time for Miller to be a FA
 
Cam just isn't a great QB. Not yet anyway. He's very effective when their run game is working and he can play action and hit his first read. But when he has to throw against an honest pass defense that isn't chatting to stop the run, Cam struggles.

He just didn't read quick enough. He held the ball all night because he wasn't sure what to do. That is common for a Cam. This year though, the run game was so good that he was not in the situation very often so he was rarely tested outside his comfort zone.

He's gotten a lot better as a passer but he's still nowhere near as good as most think. You'd swear this week Cam was the greatest QB to ever play, totally unstoppable.
