SUPERBOWL LX Hawks vs Pats

Huh?? Walker had 50 more carries over the course of the season, than did Charbonnet. Charbonnet was primarily their 3rd down option, although they did give him more than just 3rd down snaps here and there, dependent on gameplan and game flow. For all intents and purposes, Walker WAS their starter
The team got better when it was all Walker as he is the better RB. Instead of forcing carries to Charbonnet.

Tomlin held this franchise back.

The team got wins based off talent. But talent can only influence outcomes so far until actual schemes and coaching comes into play.
Exactly, I was saying this on some FB articles.....A good roster will get you wins in the regular season, but good schemes will get you wins in the post season. These past teams had enough talent to get those 9 +/- wins a year but were woefully outcoached in the post season.

He came off a good enough season that he should have been attractive and was to the Seahawks. The Steelers didn’t even sniff in his direction. Give me this kind of production any day…

That's not a good enough season it was MVP contender season. He **** the bed in the playoffs. The Vikes had a young first rounder.....they ****** up and let him walk. The Steelers could have added plus 10 percent he wasn't coming to Pittsburgh. The Seahawks had young good skill guys and an offensive system he knew he couod succeed in. It was a perfect storm for Seattle. And it was lucky. But the rest of it is the Seahawks doing it right the way I wish the Steelers would.

I can't image that most of the players in the league saw through the nonsense that the media told us was amazing. Who would want to play for him? I know many said that, and I bet many of those would have loved it, but everyone? No way. It just doesn't add up. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to be in that nonsense.

I think Darnold will eventually regress, he was showing signs. In the first quarter of the Super Bowl he was throwing dangerous passes the Pats barely missed, several completions were poor throws that required great catches.

He's done very well with two fantastic supporting casts. He they reneg his deal and pay him like a top QB, they won't be able to afford that cast.

Because no one can live in the moment, I already saw at least one analyst suggest the Seahawks will develop Milroe to avoid a monster contract extension with Darnold.

Damn, Milroe is a guy I wouldn't mind seeing the Steelers make a play for.

I seriously doubt it, they have a top-notch GM and their coach is level-headed and seems to have good judgement. They'd go searching elsewhere for a starter before Milroe ever earns that spot

Lol seriously?? Based on what? That guy will NEVER amount to squat as a starter in this league, I was so thankful the Steelers didnt draft him
Yes. I fail to see how anyone could be lore excited about Milroe or Simpson then Howard. What metric are you using?

Tools. It's all about the tools.

And if he flops, Slash 2.0.
