Take to the streets, start fires, pillage the stores……… we have a Tomlinship !!!!!!!

Now they can actually focus on playoff football.!!!!!

Salute the nation

With the way Rodgers is playing right now combined with a decent run game, this team feels a little different than previous years. They hit a rut in the middle of the season, but they're back to a team that can win a playoff game. I hope that the Patriots and Packers can take care of business so the Steelers can rest players at the end of the season.

Maybe we can keep Shades in the locker room since he’s achieved his yearly reward and let Rodgers and Artie run the show. Rodgers at least gets after players and makes them accountable on offense.

I'm hoping Tomlin stays on the hot seat to help motivate him until he does more than simply have another non-losing season. This team and the coaching staff have been nothing more than average for over a decade. It's time for a change if things don't change when it matters.

As long as the Browns have more playoff wins than the Steelers over the last ten years, and the Steelers are dead last in the league in key offensive statistics like time of possession for the season this year, i'm still on the team needs a new head coach bandwagon. The Steelers have not won a playoff game since 2016. Maybe that's good for newer fans, but those of us that have been around a few decades have much higher expectations.

I was a little worried a few games ago that the media love for Tomlin had finally died. However, after another non-loosing season, I'm hoping the team can find an interested team to trade a couple of high round picks for him and his entire staff in the offseason if they don't at least look prepared for the post season this year.

That said, the last three games have been better. I'll remain cautiously optimistic, the team can fully come together by the playoffs and do some damage to the other teams in the post season. For that to happen, the defense will need to learn how to defend both passing and running in the same game. It seems like they either can't defend either during a game, or, at best, it's one but not both. They have played better without TJ.

It's not a coincidence the offense is playing better now they are letting the WR vets get more snaps. Austin is not a number 2 NFL receiver (in this offense at least). Especially, with Tomlin calling the plays. I'm curious if we will actually have receivers start to consistently be more involved in the offense, so a RB doesn't have to be the best WR on the team every week. I'm guessing DK will be suspended at least next week. Let's see how they perform without him in the lineup. I assume it won't be a big change in performance.

It is more than that. Our O was in the rut because it seemed our game plan went back to Tomlinball. Now it is more open. Mixing things up in the run and pass. On D we are also doing things a bit differently. Playing more aggressive. Not giving them the entire middle of the field on every play. My take anyway.

I'm a doubting Thomas until they do something noteworthy in the playoffs.

The Noll record is absolutely meaningless.

I've seen this movie a bunch. Are they going to rewrite the ending this year?
That's where I am. It was a great win in Detroit, but the last 3 wins have all been against non playoff teams, the last two playoff teams we played we lost.

Belichick did the same from 2001-2019, nobody ever said a word about it, because it wasn't the ceiling.
According the Fan Radio station here in Pittsburgh that's no longer the ceiling, the Steelers are Super Bowl bound, if Denver had to come here, the Steelers would smash them says Joe Starkey. SD having to travel across country to play a rested Steelers team would be trouble for SD.

As you already know, it gets a whole lot more competitive when they get into the playoffs.
You’re going against the best teams at that point. The best rosters and best coached teams.
I like you, am very doubtful that this team can sniff a playoff win this year. I’ll believe it when it happens!

Oh how we have been here before....

That being said, we do have several things that has been missing the last several years at the end of the year.

A QB that can win a playoff game. And legitimate running game. Just in time for the playoffs.

I just hope we aren't getting rope a doped again.

Listening to same. I think the Steelers are likely home dogs whoever they play. 1-4 against current playoff teams, 1-5 if you count GB.

I need to see it to believe it.

There's also the dynamic of momentum, and it's reverse in Pittsburgh. When the world is against them, they rally. When the world is blowing them up, they usually fall flat. The world is blowing them up right now.

As easy as they could go 11-6, I could also see 9-8 and sitting home.

Joe Starkey is ******* wacky. He’s all over the board. Three weeks ago the team was a disaster and Tomlin needed to go.
Now he has them going to a SB.
Wait until Pony is up this afternoon! That should be entertaining.

A switch flipped sometime shortly after the “fire Tomlin” chants

He needed a kick in the azz from the fans

He’s got that eye of the tiger again and things of that nature and will obviously be a huge component of the hell unleashing moving forward. The GOAT HC is about to open a can of whoop-azz

Watch and see, watch and see yee non believers

This Tomlinship is coming with the cherry on top

The only question is who will be the first victims? Chargers??? Bills???

Watch and see

I think part of this is building up a strawman to tear down if/when they get beat in the first round of the playoffs.

They do this intentionally. They have to do this to keep listeners listening. I laugh everytime we are firing Tomlin one week, then going to the Superbowl the next. And it happens every damn year with this team.

If they make the playoffs and lose first round we will be back firing Tomlin again.

One thing I will say about THIS POSSIBLE playoff run is that there doesn't seem to be any invincible teams this year. Especially in the AFC.

No more miracle Chiefs. And the last time the Steelers went to the Superbowl the Patriots super teams weren't involved.

So here. Take a puff of this hopium....

Its some really good $%*#.

Yeah and yelling on the way to the locker room like a tool, "That's why Brooke", because she asked him about the fans after Buffalo, so 4 weeks later he's acting like a tool bag walking back to the locker room yelling. Crap like this is what gets him trouble I think, whenever they get some momentum he gets all cocky, strutting off the field, running his mouth. Then there's the let down. Like the year he's on national TV talking about can't wait to have NE vs Pittsburgh 2, blah, blah, then Blake Bortles kicks our ***.

Whatever it takes to get him off his complacent azz

Imma send Brooke a Christmas present for waking the sleeping dog

I like grumpy, edgy Mike more than complacent, calm Mike

yeah but with grumpy edgy Mike comes cocky Mike, now that everyone will be talking about how great we are, instead of how bad we are, we'll see what happens.

Good news is that if Denver has to come here, we'll smash them, if SD has to fly across country will beat them and if Houston has to play here we'll shut them out, that's what's on Pittsburgh sports radio right now. So that's 4 of the 7 teams down.
