I buy American when I can but clothing and shoes are out of my budget. How have tariffs affected anyone personally here? If they are as bad as some would have you believe shouldn't inflation be skyrocketing as a result and not hovering at less than 3%? For a while a can of Folger's was stupid at $20, but it's returned to half of that price. And if a foreign commodity reaches a price where I'm not comfortable with it, I simply won't buy it.
I could see the price of the dress shirts I buy on Amazon fluctuate wildly between $20 and $60 depending if we had a tariff in a given month.
Thing is, I'm another $25 on every shirt getting them altered since I'm kinda top heavy. Fitted shirts aren't tapered enough anymore and I look sloppy like I have a muffin top.
