helter skelter

Shannon J. Miles, 30, was charged Saturday with the shooting death of Harris County sheriff’s deputy Darren Goforth, 47, and Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman is investigating the “dangerous” rhetoric of the #BlackLivesMatter movement as Miles’ motive, ABC13.com reports.

“Our system of justice absolutely requires that law enforcement be present to protect our community,” Hickman said during a press conference. “So any point when the rhetoric ramps up and calculated, cold-blooded, assassination of police officers happen, this rhetoric has gotten out of control.

“We’ve heard Black lives matter, all lives matter, well, cops’ lives matter, too,” Hickman added. “So why don’t we just drop the qualifier and say ‘lives matter.’”

Harris County DA Devon Anderson spoke next, saying, “It is time for the silent majority in this country to support law enforcement…there are a few bad apples in every profession, that does not mean there should be open warfare declared on law enforcement…what happened last night is an assault on the very fabric of society.”

This is bullshit because the media tells us that black people can't be racist but all cops are racist.

“It is time for the silent majority in this country to support law enforcement"

Trump's Silent Majority?

Is that code for white people?

If this is found to be true anything bearing the slogan "Black Lives Matter" will have to come down, right?

I turned on CNN and to their credit, they do seem to be taking a "WTF, black people?" in their coverage.

I saw a bit of them taking him before the judge and they read off what evidence they had on him - there must have been 30 cops lining the walls staring at him.

Unloaded 15 rounds into the trooper's head and back - got a witness, got his truck got the gun

Dead man walking - clank clank

Cops kill black people and need to die before they kill more. Every website this guy looked at told him so.

A lady that works for me is married to a Deputy Sheriff, he works the same area as the murdered officer and visits that exact Chevron pretty much every day to fill up his cruiser.

By no means should you read this...it's a bunch of pinko-commie liberal crap brought to you by Al Gore and the president of North Korea, the Kenyan Barack Obama and of course, Lamestream Media...

The deeply disturbing lie that the death of a Texas officer is connected to Black Lives Matter
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/...as-officer-is-connected-to-Black-Lives-Matter

This past week in Houston, Texas a white police officer, Darren Goforth, was fatally shot and killed by a black man with a lengthy and violent criminal history. It was a horrendous crime. Thankfully, the alleged perpetrator, Shannon Miles, has already been arrested. Typically, people who harm police officers don't make it far before they are caught and either charged or killed. This case was no different.

What was different, and extremely disturbing, was when Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman attempted to draw a ridiculous connection between the peaceful Black Lives Matter movement and the murder of this officer.

The two have absolutely nothing to do with one another.

Both the official Black Lives Matter organization, its representatives, and its loosely connected friends and partners actually have real agendas, real goals, real plans, and none of them, explicit or inferred, has ever suggested violence against police.

This man wasn't given any orders or inspired by any Black Lives Matter leaders to do what he did. No op-eds or speeches or workshops or emails from Black Lives Matter leaders have even hinted at violence toward police and any attempt to say such a thing is racist in and of itself.

Just because this man who killed Officer Goforth was black, doesn't make him a part of this movement any more than being white qualifies you as a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

Twelve-year-old Tamir Rice was killed by police nine months ago and police and prosecutors claim to still be investigating, but days after a criminal kills a white officer, the sheriff is already making declarative statements about motive and inspiration. The double standard is thick. Justice for black victims of white police violence find investigations slow and justice rare. Somehow though, those same slow officers have indicted all of black America in this shooting of Officer Goforth.

It's dangerous, and the statement was a reckless and unnecessary attack on a movement that is actually fighting for a more peaceful and just America.

Funny. I can remember how the Daily Kos, Huffpo, and other liberal rags demonized the Tea Party in the same way. White bad, black good.

In Minnesota over the weekend, BLM led a protest where they chanted "PIGS IN A BLANKET....FRY THEM LIKE BACON."

Coincidence? I think not.

Could ya point us to where in this article it shows that this cop's murder wasn't driven by BLM? Can you point to where in this article it states what actually was the criminal's motive for unloading 15 rounds into the officer? All this article does is say "you don't have proof that BLM drove this, so this had nothing to do with BLM therefore." Ahem.

I particularly love the line - "Both the official Black Lives Matter organization, its representatives, and its loosely connected friends and partners actually have real agendas, real goals, real plans, and none of them, explicit or inferred, has ever suggested violence against police"

Except...

Pigs in a blanket...

Or...the two cops assassinated in New York were gunned down by a man swearing he was motivated by the death of Eric Garner...

Or...

BLM couldn't possibly ever inspire violence and there is no way that the Texas Deputy was gunned down because of anything at all to do with BLM. This is plainly evident.

Peaceful. Exactly the image that pops into my head when I think of #BlackLivesMatter.

Yes, peaceful. There is no way whatsoever BLM is ever violent, or could have inspired a cop's execution. No way at all.

Why does the Bureau of Land Management hate the police?

Another cop shot down today.

"Cops lives matter".

You can't fix stupid. But I really could care less about how people are making fun of a picture put up on every news media outlet at one time. When I was in college I probably made fun of things in very non-politically correct ways. Including being insensitive to "the bigger issues".

We're just at a point where when college kids make fun of stuff like this, it's all over social media. Before it was just in my fraternity's basement.

Not asking anyone to do her harm, but people will find her and make her life a living hell.

She may not be very smart, but at least she has her good looks to fall back on.
