Thank You Steeler Nation

Damn, I was just going to post Gisele's nekkid photos for you too...

Is that really attractive? She looks like she's starving. One good deep push and you'll break her hips. Man face.

Been a casual fan since 2010 - the year they took hitting away from a defense. I haven't given the nfl a dime since and never will.

Im not surprised to see this and I love ya man. I used to eat, breath, drink and sleep footbal. It seems like all the fun has been sucked out of the game and it started with the Snow Bowl. That AFCC game should have been Oak/Pitt.

I said a couple of months ago and really for several years that there would be a falling out between Goodell, Kraft, Bitchmade Brady and Belicheat. It has apexed.

My roots are in Aliquippa. Its a proud football town and its loyal to the end. My entire life (born in 71) has been draped in BnG. Pens, Pirates, Steelers. Period. I have lived all over the West Coast and now Texas. That has never changed. Ive raised my child with the same passion and loyalty.

I have chosen to work a second job on Sundays and really couldnt care less that I will miss games. My friends and family are wondering if I need to be committed. I just dont care anymore.

My main man is in the HOF and I think Ive transitioned to a very casual fan.

When did I get nominated to the HOF????

I said it before all this went down, if Brady walks that is the end of me with the NFL. When you fail to punish cheating (and everyone outside of Boston knows he cheated) then the sport has become nothing more than pro wrestling. This is twice now with NE and basically nothing has happened. Throw in the fact that a once proud Steeler organization now employs a bunch of pot smokers because that is the only way to stay competitive and it's time for me to find something better to do with my time. The league has been going to hell a long time under Goodell and this decision is my breaking point. I want to thank all of you for the great experience of talking Steelers football for the past 11 years....I will miss this place for sure.

I'm an FNG so sorry to hear. I feel how you feel too somewhat. The NFL has become such a joke. Hey, hockey is right around the corner. Don't know if you follow the NHL. Baseball?
Gotta still root for the Steelers somewhat. Even though they just ain't the same. Funny how so much can change in 5 years huh?

I'm PO'd, too about this decision, but it's not the NFL that let him off the hook. It's the court/judge that the pussyfied cheater whined and cried to. Maybe the NFL is not what it once was, but this latest doing was not GODell and the NFL. I have to ask though, where was the evidence the NFL had to suspend him with in the first place? What happened to it and why didn't they present it in court against him to plead their case?

You can't give up. If you do, the patriots win...

Gotta tell you, I get so much done on Sundays in the fall now. I turn the radio on just before kickoff and turn it off when its over ( no matter what the clock says)

C'Mon HOCKEY!

I love hockey. Maybe hockey won't get too big for its own good, like the NFL has.

Hunting. I love hunting.

I'm throwing down the gauntlet people. I have decided, I have had enough. On Sundays, I'm going to Still wear my Steelers Jersey and hat. I'm still gonna buy beer, but it won't be an American beer, or North American beer cause they might support the NFL. I'm gonna buy one of those Femmy European Beers that people drink with soccer. I'm also not gonna eat anything made of animals in solidarity with the people protesting Vick. No more cheese steaks, wings or venison from last years hunt. Only carrot sticks and apple pieces this year. And I won't come on here for hours bitching and moaning about losses or gloating in victory. I will show a silent protest to the Brady thing. I will only sign on once in a while so you know I'm really protesting. I will write in a post.

Goodbye all, I'm really looking forward to all the extra chores I will be freed up to do, and I've always wanted to join a book club.

Frankly the games cause me too much irritation anyway. It's much easier to read about them afterward. Causes so much less stress in my life. Any Steeler clothing or items I own are gifts given to me by other people. (Thank you very much, I do appreciate it, but it's really unnecessary.)

I frankly feel as though the game has become more or less a sham. It's closer to "professional wrestling" now than the sport I grew up watching. The "athletes" are out of control, the Patr*ots have destroyed the game and Goodell has completely ruined the integrity of the league with his arbitrary assignment of fines and suspensions. His agenda punishes teams and players he dislikes and patronizes those he likes. It's not a secret at all. Games are poorly officiated, very little effort is made to improve or standardize that process. Instead players are randomly fined and suspended for completely legal plays in the hopes of instilling fear and trepidation in the defensive scheme.

Meanwhile, terrible offenses happen off the field and are blatantly covered up as long as the public is unaware of them. If and when the public becomes aware of them, the league turns on the trouble-makers like starving cannibals in a dry season. (See Ray Rice.) The NFL doesn't care at all about player safety or they'd invest in better equipment. Instead they care about resolving litigation and quietly paying off medical claims for vegetative former players while they trump up claims against current players making legal hits so the league can appear to care about the physical nature of the game.

It's a farce from the word go. It sickens me to the core.

At least Bruno Sammartino could wrestle! And Ring Side Rosie was a plant but fun. I think part of the problem here is not really Tom Brady BUT the apparent sorry state of a Stiller team that appears "bare in the closet" on Defense.

Oh I'll continue to watch the games and get frustrated and rant and rave.

I am too much of a diehard to stop watching. I am the fanatic of fanatics. Much of everything surrounding me is Steeler-ized. Truck,masks,tattoo,etc.....

Never a day that goes by that I don't read, talk Steelers football.

But I do not have any misgivings on the wholesomeness of the sport. Money breeds corruption.

Hell even our beloved team does questionable decisions now. As they steadily have gotten worse to present date.

Goodell had changed the sport of which I loved, and that love simply has carried over from a earlier time.

So I go into it now knowing these things and knowing the cheats of the NFL will get away with it. Mirroring really what we see on a daily basis outside of the realm of football.

Just a bunch of ignorant ****** up ****.

So I will watch knowing it isn't what it was.

And will watch until the Steelers cheat. Or death whichever comes first.

I think as a fan everyone has their different levels of well that's it.

Much like life.

But within the NFL nothing has really changed within a 5 to 10 year span every since spygate.

At that time every fan should have known what some now see. It isn't any different.

It started spiraling down with Goodell and will continue to be what it is. Until he is replaced. And maybe even then depending on who replaces him..........

You can have Gisele. She's a skinny, horsefaced ****.

LOL...I've got one thought about the whole Brady deal. Who gives a **** really. If I ever dump this game, it's going to be about something a lot more important than some aging QB that likes his balls deflated. Destroyed cell phone or not, it was a stretch to implicate him in the first place and a real stretch to give him a stiff penalty because of something he might or might not have known. If you can beat him, do it and quit makin' excuses about why you don't, like some little kid.

I'm also thinkin' this would be a good year for them bandwagon fans to go away 'cause it's gunna be a looong season from what we have seen so far. If ya wanna watch baseball, hockey or women's beach volleyball, this maybe a good time to find the door.

Not watching the NFL because the NFL was overruled by a Liberal court judge - hmmm..... Can't blame this on Rog or the NFL, especially if they do appeal it.

The only American Breweries left are Yuengling and Sam Adams. A lot of the European beers are poured at stadiums now (Stella, Amstel, Heinie). there are thousands of microbrews in this country that can't afford to advertise with the NFL. I'd suggest drinking them and supporting local business.
