Commiefornia is intent on destroying itself, which is good news since that seems to be the only thing they're good at. The state is looking at bankrupting itself by having those that never owned slaves pay a ton of money to those who were never slaves in a state that never had slavery. The inspiration for such economic genius also drives the state's endless push for "green transportation."

What is "green transportation," you ask? Why like everything government in the history of government, it's a gigantic siphon of money from those who earned it to the greedy grifter class, a.k.a., politicians. In particular, the state has thus far spent $30 billion - that's billion, with a "b" - on its "high speed rail project" to connect San Francisco and LA with the wonders of a high-speed train! Yipee! Trains - too bad man cannot conquer travel by some sort of self-contained mobile transportation system that allows the operator to control travel. Pipe dream, I know. Or the wish of wishes, conquering the sky so that humans could get on some sort of device that would transport them 400 miles in a matter of a couple hours! No possibility, I know, I know.

This twitter thread describes what California has received for its $30 billion thus far: Nothing. Literally nothing.

Why the voters must be outraged, you think. Major media must be pounding the table! Nope. Not a peep.

But hey, good news! Diane Feinstein's husband won a huge contract as part of this wonderful project!! So at least she and her grifter family can afford to hire another Chinese spy as a driver, so there's that!

And....they want you to participate.

California governor wants Medicaid to pay rent for homeless, cost $100 million

And, when they are broke the Federal Government will pay those bills, so we have this debt.

Oh, they're broke.

The absolutely hilarious thing is they pretend not to know what happened. "We had a surplus, then targeted and vilified the taxpayers, who left the state to go to places that don't hate the middle-class, particularly white males. *sob* What happened??"

Not "good news" when they pull up and emigrate to bastions of free markets and low taxes (e.g. Texas and Florida). And then they proceed to vote for politicians just like the ones in the commie state they abandoned.

This is the mentality of people that leave states where socialism is destroying them, move to new states, and vote socialism because it wasn't done properly in the state they just left, but will in the new state.

Locust are a plague of Biblical scope in 2023.

Rent what?
Their environmental laws are so strict that they can’t build enough houses.

Looks like this may be in anticipation of some looming repercussions of past actions along with some desperate attempts at future construction of shelters.

Hotels are seeking millions from S.F. for damage when they were homeless shelters. How much could city owe?

The full accounting of what it cost the city of San Francisco to provide emergency shelter in the form of hotel rooms to homeless individuals during the height of the pandemic is still likely many months away. But now there's the question of what actual damage was done inside these hotels, and how much the city should pony up for it.

Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday unveiled a new plan to address homelessness across the state, with $30 million in state funds going to construct 1,200 tiny homes to serve as transitional housing in four metro areas. San Francisco isn't one of them.

Yeah, more updates on the failing commie state of Commiefornia. Governor Hairgel is defaulting on the state's unemployment insurance debt to the Federal government. His default means he is shifting the cost to employers by way of an increased unemployment insurance tax!

Wheee! The state had a surplus of almost $250 billion in 2019-2021 and yet failed to pay off its debt. Only five states/provinces still owe the Fed unemployment loan money: California, Connecticut, New York, Illinois and U.S. Virgin Islands. Huh. What do those five areas have in common. Let me see, let me see. Oh yeah, led by corrupt, lying, pilfering, scumbag (D)'s, one and all!!!

The other four combined owe about $10 billion while California owes more than $18 billion and is not paying. Oh, sorry, California employers owe more than $18 billion after having the debt foisted on them by the incompetent, corrupt stooge who runs the place.

In closing, **** California. Leave. Now. Right the **** now.

And they are going to give how many millions to every black resident? 🤔

Go for it. Time for liberals to get what they want - burn it all down. All of it. Burn it to a charred cinder.

Then **** 'em. They don't deserve help.

Aren’t people leaving in mass already?
It seems we hear yearly how people leave, but millions more sprout up?

Illegal immigration perhaps? Just food for thought, how many of these unknowns will start popping up in rural places?

Every major metro area seems to have a complaint of increased homeless population. Atlanta is a hell hole. Albuquerque is a hell hole. I read complaints of similar issues in just about every state.

There is an entire population udocumented/unknown that are going to trickle into rural/urban places all over.

Is it by design?
If so, why?

Yes. A site compares the taxes paid by those leaving the state with those moving into the state. The middle class is gone in California and the upper-class is now leaving as well due to poor infrastructure, dirt, graffiti, gangs, taxes, crime, and the general filth of every major urban area. They are being replaced by illegals.

Go figure, the state is now in fiscal crisis. Time to let the place destroy itself. Liberalism seems a lot like alcoholism - destroys brain cells, turns people into selfish liars, if left untreated will destroy everything. To get an alcoholic to seek help, the alcoholic needs to reach the bottom and realize that there is only one way out, i.e., giving up alcohol.

Same with liberalism. Give 'em what they want and let them burn to the ground. Don't be an enabler - no help. Once they hit bottom, then force them to acknowledge what caused their plight: liberalism. And like an alcoholic, a liberal cannot have just a "little bit" of the poison. The cure is none.

Doesn't work. Prescott, AZ has no homeless. Citizens don't cater to bums and too cold in the winter for bums to live in tents.

Again, Los Angeles has 80,000 homeless because it allows 80,000 homeless and has the weather that lets bums sleep outdoors. Not true for rural areas.

Yes.

Your local (D)imbos because homelessness = "oh, a need for more services" = more government = more money for the grifter class. It really is that simple.

Solution: Set up actual homeless cities, far away from residential areas. The cities are in the middle of nowhere and have a very large wall around it to protect the homeless. No drugs, no alcohol in Homeless (the name of the city). Commit a crime? Go to Homeless jail. The homeless take care of themselves. They have jobs, grow their own food, run their own businesses. Want to leave Homeless? Show 18 consecutive months of productive work and/or schooling and a trade or skill you can use when you enter the world. When you leave, you pay your way in the real world.

Don't want to work? No problem. You just don't eat. You know, like how the rest of us live. "Will work for food"? Yeah, no ****, just like us.

Also, re-open mental facilities. Don't torture or abuse the mental patients, but for God's sake get them away from the productive citizens.

Anybody who thinks my solution is extreme has not been in downtown Los Angeles in the past three years. I have the massive displeasure of traveling to LA for business and have to go to the civil court, located on 1st Street. The bums have taken over. I am not overstating this - the bums number in the thousands in downtown LA and the area is filthy, disgusting, dangerous. The current "solution" - let them be bums - is clearly not working.

During the Occupy Wall Street craze, they did camp on the greenery of the Court House Plaza, didn't stay through winter, but made a mess while there.

This may well be a major contributing factor in the chaos we're seeing now. Bleeding hearts thinking treatment was cruel, and I'm sure in certain instances it was, but to just close everything down with no plan, other than to say, go and be free is more than short sited. And now the goal is to empty the prisons as well. Brillant!

I’ve seen it happen in Albuquerque. It’s happening in Atlanta.

My sister in law lives in Seattle and has noticed a similar trend to LA.

The only thing is some of these cities looked promising in the early 2010’s and have now succumbed to LA filth in a very short time.

In Pittsburgh we have some homeless people, occasionally you see a tent or two under a bridge, but not a lot because winter.

Mental health has put a strain on society. There needs to be some type of facility for these people to stay at. Letting them back out on the street, especially those who are so far gone in the head are a danger

Down here in Florida we have great homeless weather, but you still see very little homeless people. I guess they are all at work.

Goddammit, I95, Ogre isn't homeless, he's just between wives houses ex-wives' houses.

Up until 80's, maybe longer, but that's when I left, PA had facilities all across the state, all gone now. And their residents into the wind.

That's because the Libs decided that crazy people shouldn't be locked up.
