The Combine starts tomorrow………… WHO

With the Combine starting tomorrow, there will be many eye openers. Just curious as to who YOU have an eye on.

PLEASE keep it to players the STEELERS have a realistic shot at obtaining (we aren’t taking a QB or RB).

I’m keeping an eye on ILB Sanders from Arkansas. He is slated late second early third. He’d be an immediate impact.

What say you Steeler Nation ?
Whoever has the biggest head.

They already have the same guy in Calvin Austin III. Seriously, the team is going to have to TWO small, lightning-quick slot receivers?
CAIII dreams of being Tank

I haven't seen a lot of CAIII's games but he seems to rely more on straight line speed. I don't see the same elusiveness Dell shows each time he touches the ball

I am not arguing Dell's skillset here, just pointing out that they already have a guy they drafted to be lightning-quick and play slot receiver. If Austin III had played last year and failed, drafting Dell might be a possibility but the Steelers are probably not going to double up on very small slot receivers.

i was just pointing out that their games are not the same so they are not the same guy

I seriously doubt the Steelers draft Dell, they have needs elsewhere

That’s the thing Coolie, the first three picks are far bigger needs than Tank Dell.

I highly doubt he is there in round 3.17 for us to dive into that scenario.

I think he could be a pretty good player in the NFL, until he gets a leg injury.

We will see, after the combine, where he is projected to go in the draft order.

I think we’ve all done the Draft simulator thing a thousand times each. It’s amazing on how different they rate players on each different simulator. The guy I want at left Tackle has went from late first-early second to 10-15 on many mocks.
Broderick Jones. His combine numbers will impress. Look at how Ringo has dropped from a top 10 pick to an early second pick. Cody Mauch has risen way up,along with Mavi Smith.

Find us some talent that will be difference makers on both sides of the line for the next 7-12 years. Then look to the "skill" players. Gotta get that bedrock of a foundation before we're going anywhere.

Perhaps an array of tasty products from McDonald's?

I say “one of my 5lb slice of BACON, easy in ;;;;;;;;;; easy out !!!!!

I’m suddenly interested in the edge players. For whatever the mocks are worth, they are trending toward a run on the top CBs and OL early. It makes me wonder if the Steelers would go edge at 17 if that turns out to be the obvious BPA. Not necessarily what I would do, but I could see the Steelers doing it.

Whoever has the biggest head.
in relation to distance to the ground. that part is always forgotten, yet makes the entire statement that much more preposterous.

Didn't the head to body weight ratio become part of his criteria as well?
