The Coronavirus thread

Tim, some of your comments are so dumb, I won't even respond to them. Par course, for you.

I know your tin foil hat is screwed on tightly, but maybe look around a little and research a given topic before you start spewing your bullshit conspiracy theories.

If you would have made even a nominal attempt to find out what's happening in Brazil with Bolsonaro, you would've realized this wasn't a 'fake news' CNN story, like your papa Trump likes to preach about at bedtime.

Yet....you respond.

Makes it even more rich. Let's see if Brazil throws away a fully utilitarian drug they can make use of eh? Meanwhile it sits in storage, much like relief supplies sat in storage in Puerto Rico, because there isn't a plan to break down the boxes of pills and distribute them.

I also find it utterly comical how hard the China News Network works to battle Hydroxychloroquine. Despite numerous studies showing it can be effective, CNN calls it utterly ineffective.

It bears repeating - Trump could cure cancer. You and the rest of the libtard left would scream about how he put doctors out of jobs.

CNN is actively campaigning to keep a drug from being administered that could save some lives. "If it saves just one life..." Remember those days? Yeah...not so much anymore.

The point is to call fraud on CNN's bullshit claim that Brazil will simply throw away a useful drug and lying CNN is at it again and you're spreading misinformation again.

Tibs is right. Drugs expire, they get thrown out. There is so much waste some health systems outsource the management of their inventories.

That's some slick dancing and avoidance there Tibs. You slip shots as good as Mohamed Ali when facts you don't like come up. You also conveniently ignored my post about Pelosi insulting Dr. Birx not 24 hours after you were aghast at the assertion that Trump might have insulted Dr. Birx. Bob and weave Tibs, bob and weave.

Yeah, let's parse that out a bit.

So Pelosi, and everyone else with a sound mind, had objected to Dr. Birx sitting by idly as Trump went on his disinfectant rant, and continued downplaying the virus for weeks, if not months. But Birx stood by the President, thereby enabling him, which was serious negligence (at the minimum) by a so-called non-partisan public health official. So she lost credibility early on.

Meanwhile, Birx had become Trump's teacher's pet, as opposed to Dr. Fauci, who was thrown to the wolves. He fawned over her. All the way up until this past weekend, when she seemed to flip a switch, and did a 180 by saying the covid situation is worsening, that the spread was more widespread than initially thought, and that further mitigation may be required, schools may need to be shut down, etc.

Which then brings us to:

1. Pelosi criticized her for not having stood by science and public health by not rebuking Trump when she could have, and consquently dismissed her recent about-face as being too little, too late.

2. Trump called her out for saying what she did, insinuating that she had turned on him by going against the company line on covid.

To be fair to Dr. Birx, she was 'protesting' with every inch of her body and her facial expressions as Trump went on his batshit crazy rant. But she had an obligation to actually come out and say something meaningful, right there and then, before people went out and starting guzzling Clorox.

Wasn't there a bunch of whining and screaming about the shortages of this drug for other conditions because it was being used for covid?

Tibs is right.

As of this moment, on this iteration of the board, Tibs has wasted our time with 10,717 posts.

He hasn't been right in one. Unless say...you agree with things like Michael Avenatti is an American Patriot.

It's real simple.

The left is screeching about the US poor response to COVID when comparing us to other countries that have mostly minimized the impact of the virus in those countries. Trump's fault they say.

At the same time, those countries they laud achieved part of their success by using Hydroxychloroquine. Trump suggest Hydroxychloroquine is a possible treatment.

Therefore - the left condemns the use of Hydroxychloroquine because Trump supports it's use.

If there's even the slightest chance that Hydroxychloroquine works in treating Covid - the left is being willfully and criminally irresponsible to the American people for completely political reasons.

Wherever Avenatti lies on the list of American Patriots, it’s certainly far above Trump.

Off subject just a bit, but worth a response. Somewhere around the late 70's or so drug manufacturers starting placing arbitrary expiration dates of their products. Before then there were none.
An expiration date only means the manufacturer has protection in that they don't have to guarantee 100% potency of their product, and doesn't mean they aren't still effective.
That's why a lot of expired drugs end up in 3rd world countries, they will still work, but can't be sold here. A particular product would have to be assayed individually to determine potency, but on average I'd have no issues using them a year or 2 after said date.

That's one of the dumbest things you've ever said. It also proves that you are Anti-America. ******* commie.

To further equate Avenatti WITH any one resembling an American Patriot is mind boggling.

If you ever want a clear understanding of the phrase 'living in someone's head, rent free' all you need to do us cue up Tim's posts on this board.

As has been the case for many years, it's still a bit cringy, Tim, your infatuation with me. But I'll take it as a compliment. I hope your wife doesn't mind, or get any funny ideas.

No.

The reason Trump is being blamed for the poor response is because he pushed states to open up too soon, and downplayed the seriousness of the pandemic and importance of wearing masks and social distancing and unlike other countries the US is seeing a huge surge in cases and subsequently, hospitalizations and deaths. The reason other countries are kicking the US’s *** is because they’re not seeing the huge surge in cases.

HCQ hasn’t prevented anybody from contracting COVID-19.

Sure, bring out the big guns and call Tibs a poopy-pants.

You might be a Trumptard if...

Poor Flog. He can't act like the leading expert here (like he does with everything else), because he came across an actual, true-to-life expert in the field. Oopsie.

That's the stupidest, most ridiculous tripe ever uttered here (or anywhere). And we're talking about a place that had to endure Elftard.
